AnnaBeth POV:

"Good morning AB!" Nate waved as he entered the cafe.

"Morning!" I smiled at him and saw who was behind him. "Good morning, stranger." He grunted as a reply. I frowned and wonder what crawled up his butt. Still, I ask, "What is your name anyways? I never knew." He ignored me but Nate elbowed him.

"Sorry on his behalf. He's always this rude. His name is Baron Knight Davis."

"It's ok and the name fits him."

Nate chuckled, "you have no idea."

I laughed, "Anywsys, what can I get for both of you?"

"Two coffee and two blueberry muffins, please?"

"Alright, anything else?"

"No, that would do. Thank you." Nate smiled at me while Baron Knight just stared out the window.

"I'll be right back with your order." I walked back behind the counter to prepare the order. Carrie Marie Kingsley, my best friend, walked in. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Carrie Marie." She rolled her eyes making me laugh.

"Shut up and didn't I tell you I hate it when you call me my full name?" She playfully glared at me. I laughed. "Just teasing you. Be right back. Gotta serve these." I walked over to the table and put the muffins and coffee down. "Here you go. Enjoy!" I didn't wait for a response as I was eager to go back to Carrie.

"How was the trip to down under?"

"It was amazing!" She squealed. "It was just simply beautiful!"

I smiled at her. "I'm glad you had fun."

"It would be better with you there. You're going next time and I won't take no for an answer! I'm starting to think you're rejecting me cause you don't like me." She pouted and gave me that face. The one I can never say no or lie to. I sighed. "You already know why I can't go."

"I was willing to pay!"

I shook my head. "Not that. It was my dad's birthday, remember?"

She sighed. "Yes, I remembered. Sorry for bringing it up."

"It's ok." I reassured her with a smile.

"How about...let's go partying tonight!" She exclaimed.

"No. You know what happened last time we went."

"Come on! It was fun. Besides, you need to get laid and lose that v-card." I smack her. "I don't need to lose it and quiet down will ya? Not everyone needs to know."

"Agree or I'll shout it!"

"No, not going." I crossed my arms.

"Ok, you leave me no choice." I saw her took a deep breath." And she did it...

"LISTEN EVERYBODY! MY FRIEND HERES NEEDS TO GET LA..." I quickly covered her mouth. "Ok! I'll go!" I took my hand off her mouth.

"What the heck!" I yelled.

She simply shrugged. "You wouldn't go so I had to do something." I sighed an shake my head. "You're giving me a headache. I'll be over later to get ready. Where are we going? "

She smiled, content. "Good and Little Black Dress. See you soon, love!" She leaned over the counter and kiss my check then ran out. I groaned and covered my face. Well, that was embarrassing!

"That was pretty funny. She's your friend?" I heard Nate ask. I inwardly groaned. Dang it! I forgot they were here!

"Yes and don't you dare say anything."

Nate raised both his hands, "I wasn't going to." I nod. "Would you both like anything else?" He sook his head. "We're good. Thanks. We'll see you soon." With that, they walk out and Baron Knight have not said anything still. I sighed and went back to tending customers and cleaning.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ring Carrie's doorbell and the door opened. I was pulled inside by none other than the devil herself. "Finally! I thought you were gonna bail on me."
"I was thinking about it."
"Don't you dare!" She pointed at me.
I put my hands up to surrender. "Doll me up then!" She squealed.
Two and a half hours later, we're dressed and ready. We grabbed our wallets and head to the club. When we got there, the line was long but we just went straight to the bouncer and he let us in. Did I mention Carrie Marie is rich and her brother owns this bar? And no, I don't hang out with her because she's rich. I didn't even know that until a year after we became friends. When we got inside, the music was blasting, people dancing and grinding, and people drinking. We went to the bar and Carrie ordered us drinks.
"Let's get drunk tonight. You don't work tomorrow so you'll be fine!" She screamed over the loud music. I just simply shook my head knowing I won't get out. She ordered is seven shots each and we downed them. After downing them, we went dancing. Luke Bryan's Country Girl (Shake It For Me) was on. I love this song! We danced until the song ended then went back to grab more drinks. We continued dancing and drinking.
"I'm going to the restroom!" Carrie yelled. I nodded and an barely process what she said.
I went back to the bar. After a bit someone came up behind me. "Can I buy you a drink?"
The voice sounded familiar. I turned around and it was none other than Mr. Baron Knight Davis standing there smirking. I think the alcohol was kicking in because I did not expect to say the next thing. "Want to get out of here instead?"
His eyes widened but nodded. He grabbed my hand. "Wait, I have to tell Carrie Marie first."
"She's taken care of already baby. Nate's with her."
"Still, I need to text her then." I quickly sent her a text and was surprise I can still text after all the alcohol I consumed. "Ok, let's go."
He dragged me outside and hailed usa cab. We got in. "65 Every Street."
