Maybe the characters found their dark places and stayed there.

Maybe Octavian didn't die.

Maybe Gaia didn't stay asleep.

Maybe all forms of hope that our beloved 7 demigods and their friends perished.

Maybe, just maybe, not everyone lived happily ever after.

And maybe someone took ideas from those 'maybe's to create a story in itself.
