"Hi, I'm Kaylynn," a blonde grinned at Daniel, and took a seat next to him. He was tempted to raise an eyebrow, but decided to save that for Jenny, and this was clearly, in every way, not Jenny.

He didn't really want to tell her his name but he did anyway, "Daniel." And with it, a manly sort of cough mixed grunt, which he meant as a hint of something, but even he was confused. And Kaylynn didn't notice.

Maybe she was being a bit more forward than previously mentioned.

The cafeteria was strangely quiet, as quiet as one could be that is, and it felt as though any second now a dollop of mashed potatoes, or what was meant to be mashed potatoes, would be flung over Daniel's head and into someone's face. So yes, when Kaylynn Gelden approached Daniel, who was sitting alone at an abandoned, rickety table to fend for himself and his ugly, bruised nose, he was sincerely surprised. Even more so when she practically sat on his lap.

He was less surprised, however, to see Jenny standing a ways a way, holding back a laugh. She looked amused to say the least, and Jared, when approaching from behind her and catching her gaze, finding where it fell, was not. He looked disgruntled, and he told Jenny they should sit, and leave Kaylynn to her own business.

Daniel was clueless as to what business this was, or that she had an agenda, but he was figuring it out more by the second.

So Kaylynn batted some lashes, and made a few pouts, and corny jokes, and Daniel eventually gulped the last time and made some excuse about math, and turned and ran as fast as he could without running.

Kaylynn shook it off, thinking nothing of it, and wandered over to her table to sit across from Jenny.

"Hey, don't you have his number?" She said, sort of innocently, but not at all.

Jenny choked on her water, and Jared turned red.

"Uh, no," she decided the disaster being served as lunch today was slightly more interesting then her boyfriend being pissed off. Again.

"Why do you ask, Kaylynn?" Jared asked, his voice sounding of sarcastic curiousity and mockery.

"I heard they exchanged numbers or something. Oh, no, it was that she gave him her number, okay. That makes sense. Sorry guys." Kaylynn responded, smiling at the end and returning to fidgeting with her nails.

"Oh?" Jared turned to face Jenny who said the words biology and Ms. Hertz, and grabbed her tray off the table, and tossed everything away, before ducking out of the cafeteria, visibly unsure of what exactly she was doing.

Daniel himself had gone towards the single vending machine located next to the east wing bathrooms,  and inserted some change to get a Snicker's. The candy, of course, got stuck on it's way down, and kicking and shaking the machine wasn't helping much.

This lured Jenny to investigate whatever the hell was causing the noise, and led her to discover Daniel in the midst of violently abusing the machine.

"I would tell you to eat a Snicker's, but that would just be mean." She laughed a little bit on her walk towards him, and he sighed. So she deposited another dollar, and pushed B3, forcing the back Snicker's bar to shove the front one, and itself, forward.

Daniel pocketed his, and Jenny peeled hers open.

"How's the nose?" She asked, sliding down against the wall and sitting cross-legged on the floor.

"Not broken." He said quietly, and stared at the wall clock in front of them.

"I figured," she said, "Jared has a sucky punch."

Daniel chuckled a bit. "Totally. And what's up with this Kaylynn girl?"

Jenny sighed, "This, is an incredibly long, and graphically detailed story." She paused dramatically, Turning her head to look at him, and he did the same. "Are you sure you want to hear it?"

He raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure you want to tell it?"

She laughed, shaking her head a little bit, "Not really. But I will for you."
