Isabelle woke up to the annoying, but familiar sound of her alarm clock. She shot up in bed and looked at the clock.
"Damn it. Its already 7:05!" She said while bolting out of bed, running to the restroom to take a shower.
She had to get ready for her first day of school in Holmes Chapel.
Isabelle got undressed and stepped into the shower. She ran her fingers through her scalp, making sure her hair was washed and ready.
After scrubbing down and rinsing, she turned the hot water off and stepped out of the steamy shower. Isabelle immediately felt a rush of cold air coming from her room and into the restroom. She got dried off, did her hair, and changed into the clothes she picked out last night. She didn't think too much about the wave of chill that she felt moments ago.
'Maybe mother is awake and opened one of the windows.' She thought to herself while finishing her hair.
She slowly stepped back into her room, only to find the door of her balcony wide open. Surprised, she walked over to the door.
Isabelle stepped out onto the balcony just to make sure everything was okay. It was pouring outside but she didn't care.
'I have a beautiful view from up here.' She thought to herself while looking out into some hills and a river.
Then at that moment she felt it. She felt like someone was watching her, staring at her. Piercing their eyes into her heart and soul.
She didn't like this feeling.
Isabelle looked around the balcony nervously, checking if anyone was around. Her heart began to race.
Isabelle ran across the balcony and back into her room, closing the door and locking it.
'It could have just been the wind that opened the door.' She thought to herself, trying to shake off the feeling.
She never had that feeling. And as much as she wants to deny it, she was scared. She was terrified.
'I'm just over exaggerating.' Isabelle thought as she slowly tiptoed down the stairs, trying not to wake her mother.
Isabelle was about to leave the house before she heard a loud crack of thunder and remembered it was raining. She picked up an umbrella that was lying next to the coat rack, opened it and walked outside. She closed the door behind her and started walking towards school.
It is really bad outside. Cold, windy, rainy.'I hope my day won't be as bad as the weather.'
Isabelle was only a couple of feet away from her flat when she felt it again. She stopped in her tracks and turned around, determined to find out what was making her feel this.
Isabelle squinted through the rain, trying to make out any figure. She turned back around and started walking faster.
'Oww!' Isabelle screams as she runs into something extremely hard. She lost her balance and started falling backwards.
Before she could hit the ground, she felt herself being cought. By who!?
"Are you ok?" A deep husky voice asked Isabelle while placing her back onto the ground gently.
Lightening fluttered across the sky and lit it up. She saw his face. This man standing in front of her was beautiful. He had emerald green eyes and curly hair. He was taller than her and he was very nicely built. Isabelle's heart began to race.
'Don't ruin it Bell.' She thought to herself.
"Um, ya. I'm fine. Thanks. Sorry, I didn't see you standing there." Isabelle answered shyly, looking down at her shoes.
