"dear adam,
in this letter i thank you,
for everything.
now,
go and open the present!"
adam read the note and slowly unwrapped the crisp blue paper. the package was small and flat and he was almost certain of what it was.
as the corner showed he smiled, he was right. adam unwrapped the present even more so that now you could see more then seventy percent of the gift. he closed his eyes,
"thank you".
he carefully folded up the wrapping paper and placing it in a small wooden box, where he stores his letters. slowly sliding his hand over the old record cover he could feel all the scruffs of the past damage. sliding out the record he looked at the disk as if it was the most precious thing on earth. it was 'the beatles - yellow submarine'.
she knew he hated this album but he didnt care anymore. adam let out a small chuckle and went to the record player (it was given to him when emily died). he carefully placed the disk on its position and slowly placed the pin on the record.
adam lied onto his bed and closed his eyes, listening to the soft sounds that were the last gift given from his dead best friend.
