It was Election Day and I was getting ready for the meeting. My dad was in the lead for president and his opponent wasn't far behind. If my dad wins then we move to DC but If he doesn't then we stay. "Time to leave, Megan!," Dad calls. On the way I get a call from Tasha, my best friend. She tells me that she hopes for the best and will come see us if he, even though we know he will, wins. By the time we hang up, we arrive and walk in. There we see his opponent, the former president, and some other people. I take a seat as my dad goes up to speak for his votes. We will not find out who won until the meeting is over in a few hours. He finishes and then we ate and talked until they finally announced the winner, my dad. I quickly take out my phone and text Tasha," looks like I'm going to DC!"
