We held up our IDs and the security guard nodded us in. We walked among the wreckage, Dean using the EMF meter.
"What is that?" Sam asked him.
"It's and EMF meter. Reads electromagnetic frequencies." Dean replied smartly.
"Yeah, I know what an EMF meter is, but why does that one look like a busted-up Walkman?" Sam muttered.
"'Cause that's what it's made out of. It's homemade. Dean grins, I roll my eyes.
"Yeah, I can see that." Sam replied. Dean's meter had a spike. They moved over to it but I stood near the wings of the plane. It looked like it was broken post-crash. Must've been where George hit it after falling out the door. I thought. I listened closely with my powers enhancing my hearing. I could hear the guards coming.
"We gotta get out of here." I muttered. The boys looked at me confused. "There are guards coming." They nodded as we quickly made our exit. We look around the corner, before the alarm blared. We speed walk to the barbed wire fence, Dean used his suit to get over, and Sam climbed. And I did a handstand on the top before falling over the other side and landing gracefully.
"Well, these monkey suits do come in handy." Dean adds before we run off. When we got in the Impala, I looked down at my hands that had small and painful scratches on them. I ignored the dull pain and we drove back to the Jerry's office.
***********
Jerry was looking at the yellow stuff under the microscope.
"Huh. This stuff is covered in sulfur." He muttered.
"You're sure?" Sam asked.
"Take a look for yourself." There was a bang from outside the office.
"You effin' piece of crap..." a man shouted.
"If you will excuse me, I have an idiot to fire." Jerry left and Dean went to look at the slide.
"Hmm. You know, there's not too many things that leave behind a sulfuric residue." Dean said from the microscope.
"Demonic possession?" Sam returned.
"It would explain how a mortal man would have the strength to open an emergency hatch." I confirmed.
"If the guy was possessed, it's possible."
"This goes way beyond floating over a bed or barfing pea soup. I mean it's one thing to possess a person, but to use them to take down an entire airplane?" Dean guessed.
"You ever heard of something like this before?" Sam asked me.
"Never." I muttered, still examining my hands. The cuts looked slightly infected.
***********
Sam was looking at something on the computer, and Dean was reading something on the bed. My hands were stinging like shit. They had come up all red and a bruised colour, if anything touched them, I would cry out from the pain. I had done so, in the bathroom, when I was turning on the tap. I assured the worried boys that I just saw a large spider.
"So, every religion in every world culture has the concept of demons and demonic possession, right? I mean Christian, Native American, Hindu, you name it." Sam said.
"Yeah, but none of them describe anything like this." Dean replied.
"Well, that's not exactly true. You see according to Japanese beliefs, certain demons are behind certain disasters, both natural and man-made." I piped in. I had the book laid on the bed and I was turning the pages with my pen.
"And this one causes plane crashes?" Dean guessed walking over to Sam and looking over this shoulder.
"All right, so what? We have a Demon that's evolved with the times and found a way to ratchet up the body count?"
"Yeah. You know, who knows how many planes it's bought down before this one?" Sam replied. Dean snorts turning away. "What?" Sam asked.
"I don't know man. This isn't our normal gig. I mean, demons, they don't want anything, just death and destruction for its own sake. This is big. And I wish dad was here."
"Yeah I know." Sam replied. Just then, Dean's phone rang, he answered abruptly. When he finished he turned to us.
"Another crash?" Sam asks.
"Yeah let's go." He replied.
"Where?" I asked.
"Nazareth."
