Dear Diary,
I couldn't find Mommy today. Dad said she was sleeping. I said Susan was sleeping, too. Susan told me a story on the way to school. She said her bonnet blew off of her head and landed on the train tracks. I laughed but Susan cried. School was fun. Nobody was mean to me and Susan said that it was because of her. I laughed again.
