Dear Diary,
This morning, I woke up and immediately felt hatred. I hated something or someone so much that I wanted to hit it, or even kill it. I found a thick, short log and hid it behind my back, then walked to the houses by the train tracks in hopes of finding the boy I met. I saw him sitting on his porch. I walked to him and asked to see his dad. He led me inside and I saw his dad sitting at a desk. I walked up to him and told him I was sorry. When he started to say something, I pulled the log out and started hitting him. He yelled and yelled and yelled, then he stopped. I ran to the kitchen, washed my hands and dress off, then ran to the boy. I grabbed his hand and we ran to the tracks. I cried and he hugged me. He said his dad always hit him so I told him that his dad was gone. We ran away together, then went to the woods and went to sleep.
Love,
Lucy Belle
