Feeling: UnWorthy

"I am not good enough.

I am not worth it, for anyone.
I am too broken to be fixed.
I was not meant to be born, to be here.
I was never supposed to feel happiness.
I can't do anything right.
I can't do it!"

These are common words and phrases I've seen on so many Social Media outputs, and heard from friends I have and had. Even family members. Even members on Wattpad! Just go look at the poetry section, and most of the books their will be about suicide or depression, anxiety, etc. Writing is a great way to relieve some of those feelings, but that's exactly it. They're just feelings that we allow ourselves to believe are true!
Imagine how these people would feel if they allowed God into their spirits? Even Christians have their moments of these thoughts and feelings, including me, but we have God to fall back on. We have God to ask and pray for these turmoils to disapear. We have God that takes away the rot in our core and cleanse them out so we are purified again. What do the people who don't and haven't accepted Jesus have? They have the world.

How great is the world to fall back on? How great is the world, that when people cry out, will the world listen? Will the world hug them and kiss them and tell them it'll be okay? No, we all know what the world does, and it's not a good sight.

We hold the light but we still listen to the dark
And it tells us that we don't measure up
And it tells us that we'll never be enough, tell me
Do we know exactly who we are

Us whom have Jesus inside have a light. A light that needs to be shared, and passed through to generation to generation, race to race, culture to culture, gender to gender; everywhere. We have this light, that even with it we'll stumble, but we can stand up again and keep walking the path that God has set for ourselves.
Through him, we can find exactly who we are in Christ and who we are to become better people. To show others how great of a God we have. That they don't have to accept any mental ailment, they don't have to accept any hatred that conquered their heart. Through us, God has sparked a light inside to light up the world.

Will you use it?

We are the light
Light of the world
Light up the night
When will we learn
Now is our time
Now is our turn

So Burn Baby burn Baby.

"In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."

- Ephesians 6:16-19

Ello!
I had SO much fun writing this piece! Do you like the change from song lyrics to personal meanings in between poems? I think it gives off...authenticity? Not that it wasn't authentic before but, you know what i'm saying right? Maybe not. I'm a little silly that way.

Also, I feel like the song lyrics really brought in my idea. Er, well helped me along anyhow! Anyone know the song title?
Anywhom comment on what you like about it or what I should maybe add! ^_^
