I thought my life was decent
Complete, controlled, and solid.
Childhood was beauty, love was in its rein.
It's amazing how you grow, it's amazing how you begin to know
That what once you thought was all together, was so far from the truth.
People pass you by, without even a glance.
People close to you withdraw, making their Iphones dance.
People who are strangers fly, without even trying.
People who teach you caw, making their knowledge defying.
I thought my life was found
Renewed, molded, and sturdy.
Life was outstanding, joy was in its stain.
It's awe striking how you know, it's awe striking how you begin to grow
That what once was crumpled and broken, was so far from the truth.
God passes by you, with more than just a glance.
God becomes close to you, making your heart dance.
God, whom was once a stranger, is there, without even trying.
God whom teaches you to have fire, making his knowledge undying.
When life is cold and bitter, remember he watches with heat and fire
He waits for you to call upon him to cast the flames inside you
He smiles at you when you finally have.
He loves, when you accept him, as he has accepted you.
No matter the times you relight,
No matter the events in your sight,
Jesus is with you
Jesus is there,
And there is nothing to hide.
So rekindle your faith, rekindle your light, and rekindle with him.
"Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me"
-Psalm 51:10
"Is not my word like fire, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"
-Jeremiah 23:29

Hey readers. I've recently found out some secrets about my family...they're not good. At all. These secrets are very dark, and are due to Religion taking an awful turn to Satan's hand. So this one is a bit more personal. I'm still trying to keep myself grounded no matter what happens, but it's a little hard knowing things that shouldn't be happening...if that makes sense.
Anyhow, please pray for myself and my family to keep our heads up and not down. Thank you.
