A/N: So I saw this post in tumblr and it gave me this idea.

Prompt: Connor gets stood up by his date and everyone in the restaurant is giving him sympathetic looks until a random stranger comes in a saves the day.

"Are you ready to order now sir?" The perky blond waitress asked.

"Um no, just give me another minute please."

"Oh, okay."

She gave me a sad smile as she walked to the next table. I twirled the fork in my hand as I let myself get lost in thought. Why didn't he show up? Was it traffic? It has to be traffic.

I couldn't have gotten stood up. Jacob didn't seem like the type of person to do that. He was so sweet in the coffee shop, where he gave me his number. I sighed. Was I a bad person? Was I ugly? No, I couldn't let myself think these things. Maybe Jacob just forgot.

Jacob would be my first date since forever, if he cared to show up. My last relationship left me pretty upset and I wasn't ready to move on until one day I decided to get over the guy. That was the day I met Jacob. It was about three days ago and all Jacob said was to meet him here at this restaurant at 7:30pm. We then exchanged numbers, talked for a bit, and went our separate ways. It was now 8:10pm and he still hasn't shown up.

I really hope he didn't ditch me. That would be really terrible.

Twenty minutes and three waitress visits later, there was still no sign of Jacob. I was staring to think that I was actually stood up, and that put an unsettling feeling in my stomach. I put my head in my hands as I silent tear drops rolled down my face. I can't believe Jacob didn't show up. This absolutely sucked. I groaned in my hands before wiping my tears and pretending to, once again, stare at the menu.

The bell above the restaurant door rang and I looked to see if it was Jacob.

Of course it wasn't.

I rubbed my slightly tear filled eyes to get a better picture of who was standing at the door.

There was a beautiful blue eyes boy with luscious chocolate brown curls. He smiled at me, making me blush.

'Are you on a date?' He mouthed to me.

'I honestly don't know at this point.' I mouthed back.

'Where is your date?' He mouthed to me.

'I think was stood up.' I mouthed back, smiling sadly.

He frowned at me. I wanted to tell him that it didn't matter as I saw him walk over to me. I really didn't need some sympathetic talk. The thing is, when he walked over he had a huge smirk on his face. He looked as if he had some type of plan, but I had no idea what he could be thinking.

"Oh my god I am so sorry babe, traffic was utterly terrible and my car was being undeniably stupid." The boy said to me.

babe? I don't even know this guy. I looked at him confused.

I'm Troye, just go with it, yeah? Who ever didn't show up is an idiot." Troye whispered to me while smiling. "Oh, and I'm sorry if you were expecting a girl." Troye said, his smile faltering only for a second.

"Thank you so much Troye. My name is Connor, and don't worry, I'm not into girls. " I whispered back.

He gave me a cute crooked smile. Troye was definitely a sweetheart, and it didn't hurt that he was cute too. Maybe this night wouldn't be as bad as I though.

"And thats how I ended up in a construction site hole. The workers were definitely upset with me" He laughed. At this point we were laughing so much that we were crying into our spaghetti.
