---Minx's POV---

I sat at my desk in the study, examining my crown. How could such petty head wear make me the most important person in all of Victubia? This should cost no more than a few coins, not an entire kingdom.

I sigh and throw it across the room, landing perfectly on the door knob. I leaned back in the chair, staring blankly at the clock, the only working object in the room. It was Friday, a day I dreaded. All because of my brother's notation that he can make all of my problems melt away with a few drinks and a couple of "friends". He even got my Head of Security, Mark, to follow along with his stupid plan. What a-

The sound of footsteps approaching brought me back into reality, and I suddenly tense as the door swings open, flinging my crown across the room again.

"Minxy! What's up, sis?" Ohm runs over to my desk, slamming his hands down on the old oak table.

I turn my head to see Sir Mark bow. "Good evening, M'lady. We've come to escort you to the Late Night Bar, as per usual."

"I'm not going." I tried to sound strict, but it came out weak and tired.

He and Mark exchange a worried look, but he soon goes back to his happy-go-lucky mood. "But we've already got everyone waiting for you! You can't keep your friends waiting, now can you?" He smiles, holding out his hand for me to take.

"My Queen, there is no harm in going. It would help relieve some stress, and you could use some fresh air." Mark gives me a reassuring smile.

I paused for a moment, hoping they would leave. But that never works. I roll my eyes and sigh, taking hold of my brother's hand. "Okay, let's do this."

---???'s POV---

Run. All you have to do is run.

I sprinted through the snow, trying to block out the cold. I was approaching a large building, by my guess it was the place Ryan had told me about a while back. A bar of some sort. I could barely remember why, but I kept running, the strong winds from the raging blizzard piercing my throat as I inhaled.

Soon I had found the back entrance, and I stopped to catch my breath. "Never.... Again...." I wheezed. Someone must of heard me, because the door opened, a bright green light blinding me as someone walked out. I brought my arm to my face, somewhat shielding my eyes. All I could hear was the crunching of snow growing closer and closer...

"Kriz? That you?"

"Ryan...?" He dimmed the orb of light in his palm and I lowered my arm, revealing a tall figure. He wore a white mask with a blank expression, some brown strands of hair falling over the top. His bar uniform - a black shirt and red vest with black jeans -- now covered in snow. I quickly pulled him into a hug, a few tears falling.

"Hey...! Kriz, calm down. What happened?" He paused for a second. "Did it happen again?" I slowly nodded. "Need a job again?"

"Y-Yeah..." I tightened my grip and tried to calm myself.

"Kriz, come on in. Glad to have you back." I slowly let go, wiping the remaining tears away and walking inside as Ryan got a spare uniform for me. "Oh, and remember... It's Cry now."

Chapter One. Oh Lord. It has been done. I have big plans for this story; I had been wanting to write a Victubia story for a while. I hope you all enjoy reading, and if you have and suggestions for this or future stories, feel free to comment. Next chapter, Minx meets the mystery woman, "Kriz". What will happen?
