He couldn't keep his eyes off her, even when the white elk started to slow it's pace as it neared the city walls. Thranduil had already called off the achers and informed them that she was a guest in their company and not a threat, but even still as he watched her now he felt as though he were back in Gorgoroth. Then he'd been watching her from a closer vantage point but through the fighting and pandemonium, even through all that though he still saw the moment it happened. He saw the moment she sacrificed herself. He saw the moment she died.
The white elk was now in front of him in the courtyard. 'Hello Thranduil.' She spoke to his mind only, he was not sure if she was speaking to anyone else in this manner or not, but if she had none had showed it. 'My Queen,' he spoke back to her bowing as he did. "Bring me a robe," King Thranduil said aloud this time as another Elven servant proceeded to fetch a robe. It was now that the elk in front of them began to change. Everyone was silent as a bright light emanated from the creature almost blindingly, but if you watched carefully enough you could see the change of the form from antlers to ears, from fur to skin, from hooves to hands, from elk to Elf. As the light started to dissipate where the elk was now stood a slender Elven woman, with long white hair and striking grey eyes. She wore nothing but a silver chain around her neck with a small pendant attached, to anyone else it looked like a simple necklace but to Thranduil it was much more.
It was now that the Elven servant had returned and bowed in front of the woman presenting to her a white and silver robe which she took. As she wrapped the cloth around her the Woodland King dipped his head and once again said, "My Queen." At this statement most of the Elves present gasped, still unaware of who's presence they were in. "Lady Elearion, it is a pleasure." Gandalf said giving her a warm smile of an old friend. "It is Queen Elearion wizard." Thranduil spat to the old warlock disapproving of his simple ways. "Now Thranduil, Gandalf is an old friend, he can call me what he pleases." The White Queen said, a smile dancing upon her cheeks. "Besides far too many people called me Queen all the time, it's a nice change of pace." It was then that Gandalf and the Queen shared quite a hearty laugh, like old friends sharing a joke. "Please, let us go inside, there is much we have yet to discuss my Queen." Thranduil said leading the way into a tent the Elves had set up temporarily for meetings. "Yes, let's." The Queen said entering the tent, everyone trailing in her wake.
