"Come on! Let's roll down the hill," Dan spun with excitement. The four-year-old's smile never shone brighter, because he found a new friend, his name was Phil.
"No, let's go down by the creek, it'll be way more fun,"Phil started turning around heading back to the sound of slow moving water.
"Wait! You're new so I get to make the rules!" he stood with his shoulders broad and on his tiptoes, trying and failing to be as tall as Phil.
"Well, you're new to me AND I'm older than you! So... I make the rules," he grabbed Dan's hand and dragged him stumbling along, off to the beginning of their adventures.
