Chapter 26

A/N notes: Hey guys! I have finished my temporary work experience today and I feel sad that I won't be able to do that until I get a paid job. :') At least I got exp true? Anyways, this chapter contains a bit of bromance/ friendship between Genko and Alejandro and a bit of drama towards the end.

Genko's POV 

After I saw Chesa close the door behind us of the President's office, my heart was racing rapidly. I was already starting to worry about her. I wanted to burst the door open right now and pull her back, but I know I can't. That President will not back down until, she tells him everything. I just stood there outside of the door, wondering if she really is gonna be alright in there.

I felt someone tap my shoulder.

"Genko...."Alejandro says. He looked at me seriously while I glanced at him and stared back at the door again.

"Chesa will be fine. I know she will. She knows that you'll come for her if President Xander lays a finger on her." He was right. Chesa and I just made an promise before she walked inside the office.

"Don't worry too much okay? We have to get to class soon." I stared at the door for a few more seconds and then I turned to Alejandro. He smiled at me and pulled my cheek.

"Oowww! Alejandro don't! Only Chesa is allowed to do that!" I told him off and flinched from the pain. Damn he pulls really hard compared to Chesa. That also sounded wrong at the same time. He pulled me away from the door.

"Cheer up Genko-chaaaan!" He chimed with a strange girly voice. Alejandro also pulls a stupid smile that he always does to everyone. I jolted back after I realize what he was calling me. 

"Did you call me Genko-chan?! I'm not a girl." I say, slightly blushing. I don't know why I started blushing. 

"You can pass on as a girl though." Alejandro puts his arm around my shoulder and pretends to kiss me forehead. I playfully shoved him off and crossed my arms again. 

"Just because I have a skinny figure." I say.

"I can easily lift you up." He says, while he proceeds to approach me, slowly extending his arms out to me. 

"N-no! Don't lift me up please!" I begged while I attempt to run away. Instead he caught me instantly. 

As usual, Alejandro ignored me and picked me up. He started swinging me around in circles. I kept slapping his back and yelling at him to put me down. He then stopped and realize that we're missing someone.

"Wait, where's Faye?" Alejandro curiously asked, while he looked from side to side. 

I took my time to re-adjust my vision and fix my glasses back into place. I looked at the empty hallway and Faye wasn't there.

"Did she leave after Chesa went into the office?" I asked, looking left and right. 

"Probably. Oh! Is your signal button on?" He asked. I reached into my inner blazer pocket and took out the signal button to check if it was on.

"Yeah it's on. We should get back to our lockers. The second bell is about to go soon."

"You're right. We have Further maths yeah?"

"Yeah we do." Alejandro sets me down on the floor while we head off to class, a little more late than we usually we go to. 

10 minutes had passed in period 5. The room atmosphere was filled with chatter. Not the loud kind of chatter, more of like a quite kinda chatter. Alejandro was sitting next to me and was concentrating on his work. While me on the other hand, I was distracted as fuck.
