Time rolled past I was barely able to remember what I had for breakfast, by the time it was lunch. Today was a very good day compared to the last few I wasn't stressed I felt completely free and I was prepared for a great weekend with one of my best and closest friends. The bell rang, as we were walking up towards class everyone was holding hands I felt so left out, so I looked around and the first person I saw was him. Luke, tossing the soccer ball and walking just over to my left.

"Luke?" I asked throwing out my hand and preparing for his complete and utter rejection, but no. He grabbed my hand and we walked hand in hand for a while.

"Are you two dating?" I heard Matthews's voice echo from behind and 'woops' and 'oohhhhs' in the background being shouted. Our hands immediately detached themselves as I turned to see Luke's face it was red. My cheeks stung as the blood rushed to them. Why am I blushing a voice inside my head whispered?
