Yeah, I know it took entirely too long to write this chapter. In my defense I was seriously considering not completing this story (I am ashamed.) But after some encouragement from Clairebebe24 I changed my mind. Three cheers for Clairebebe24!!!

Thanks by the way! I appreciate it and I'm sure that the faithful readers appreciate it too!

:)

I'm also tried to extend this chapter a little because you guys deserve it! Thanks for reading you guys! I love you all!

Keep writing and reading. Stay passionate!

Also I am SO SORRY for any grammatical errors or any additional errors. I was just so eager to post it. The next one will be better I promise.

Chapter Ten:  Saving Demigod Aidan

Part 2

Aidan glared at both the female demigods. Prentiss was rolling around on the cold, musky floor, purring at them.

“What the hell were you thinking? You could’ve seriously hurt her.”

He hissed. Aednat looked satisfied, satiated, and, quite frankly, radiant. Literally. A ray of sunshine caught her hair and made it glow brilliantly around her face like a halo. Had anyone not known who she was, they could have mistaken her for an angel. The thought almost made Aidan roll his eyes.

It was almost concerning how easily people were fooled.

“I think something’s wrong with her.”

Mingy said, poking Prentiss in the side which caused her to toss her hair back and laugh then attempt to suck on Mingy’s finger. The dark haired Demigod merely shook her head and made no attempts to stop Prentiss from running her hands up and down her legs.

Aidan, fed up with both female demigods, and almost fed up with the suddenly hands on human, ran his hands through his hair and sat down on the old, musty mattress he’d slept on last night. As soon as he sat down, Prentiss stopped molesting Mingy’s leg and began to crawl towards him. Before she had the chance to attack him again, he stood up and nearly ran across the room.

This was all so ridiculously out of character for her. What had happened to her last night?

“Prentiss, get away from her.”

Aidan growled at Aednat whom encircled her arms around Prentiss as soon as she was close enough.

“No can do brother. I’m in heaven.”

She said and flipped Prentiss over so that she was lying beneath her. Aidan started towards them, angry and frustrated but Mingy’s hand shot out and stopped him by grabbing his wrist.

“Wait…she’s fine. She has that soul thing going on.”

Mingy said. Aidan’s eyes narrowed at her. Human’s souls were just as vital to them as their blood. If either the soul energy or their blood was taken too rapidly or was drained to a certain point, they would die. This had been the second time in only a ten minute span and by the looks of glee on Aednat’s face Prentiss should have been near death but as Mingy had reminded him, her soul was overflowing. She could perhaps handle a million more round before she began feeling the effects of the feeding.
