Chapter - 110

It was late afternoon Varna was resting in her room trying to read a book.She tried watching a movie then writing something on her diary.But nothing worked for her.From morning there was uneasiness inside her.She was sweating in this weather and felt like going outside.But sudden heavy rains disturbed her mind more.Vivaan called once checking on her from office.He was too busy attending meetings.She looked at rains from glass door and touched her baby bump.Feeling little pain she thought it was normal as days were getting closer now.

Pranush was sleeping and others were resting too after lunch.Only good thing that happened today was arrival of Karuna.She wanted to surprise Varna and came directly just after Vivaan left.Varna was feeling emotionally low from few days and she wanted to be closer to her father and aththai.She didnt had heart too going away from Vivaan and her home here.She felt relieved seeing Karuna here.

She had smile on her face as she touched the soft baby frocks and socks she used to wear in chidhood.Karuna got these if they have baby girl they would make baby wear these first.Shivani also got some clothes of Vivaan childhood.While some were made to wear Pranush.There was excitement and nervousness to have her baby in her arms.But certain fear too if everything would go the way she wants.She was having difficulty in getting up from bed.When Shivani and Karuna came there.

K-"Varna wait.Thats why I was insisting on staying with you.But you and your stubbornness."

Shivani and she helped Varna to adjust on bed comfortably as she looked at them and smiled.

Var-"I was just thinking.How lucky Im that I have you both.Taking care of me like this."

Shivani and Karuna both were taken back and then started pampering Varna more.

Late evening Vikram was having coffee and watching news.The rains and storm caused serious damage in city.Traffic and non stop heavy rains.Shivani came there worried.

Vik-"Varna?"

Sh-"Shes better now.Karuna Akka is with her.But tensed for Vivaan.He isnt picking up calls too.At least can inform us.Poor girl is worried.Its not good for her to be like this in this sate."

Vik-"He must be stuck in meetings Shivani.Cant blame him too.Im thinking to join back office for few days.He needs to be here more."

Shivani heard sound of rains and felt scared.This storm and weather made her feel uneasy for some reason.Handing Varna was another difficult thing now.

Varna tried to sleep but she felt her heartbeat rising and uneasy.She was made to sit by Karuna.Who looked worried for her.She caught her bump and looked around.

Var-"Aththai.Vivaan came?"

K-"No.Varna he must be at office only.Busy inwork else he would have called.You dont need to stress yourself.Here take your medicine then you will have dinner."

Var-"I wont have anything.He is knowingly doing this.To annoy me."

She felt her eyes teared up.Shivani came with her dinner and Karuna gave her look.To which she understood everything.Karuna was arranging her food while Shivani sit facing her and wiped her tears.

Sh-"What is this Varna.You know your husband well.When he is at work he is like this only.He will be very angry if he comes to know you are refusing to eat.Come your aththai made your favorite dishes."

Pranush was on bed looking at his mother crying.He couldnt understand what was happening.Except for noise of thunders which got him scared.He started crying.At which Varna pulled him to herself and hugging him closer to her.
