Fragile Hearts

Chapter - 111

Vivaan knew he was on fight and this time he is not going to lose it.Wearing the mask hospital gown he entered the operation theatre.Seeing her pale tear strained face his eyes brimmed with emotions.He caught her head and as if in that moment she got her breathe back.Her fingers moved and machine beeped.

Varna opened her eyes weakly.A relief washed inside her seeing him there.He was with her on this.She can fight for them for their baby.Her weak smile was enough for him to get on with it.

V-"Hey.Varna Shetty.You cant give up.Come on.lets win this fight.One big last one.Im here."

He placed kiss on her forehead and she cried.

V-"Doctorrr.We are ready."

The sound of machines and tensed faces of doctors didnt break strength Vvaan got with him.They asked him if he would be able to stay inside since many couldnt bear it.He said he will stay with her no matter what.He remembered her nod and smile before the procedure started.She was counting on him.

Outside Karuna was praying now somewhat relieved seeing Vivaan being there with Varna.Vikram was time and again informing Shivani about every detail here.Both Karuna and Vikram were stunned by strength and courage Vivaan showed today.Anyone would feel low and give up with past exeriences losing so much.Vivaan stayed strong today and they knew nothing bad can happen to them now.

Every second felt like pain increasing 100 times.Varna cant take it more and she was on breakdown.She felt her nerves coming out every inch of her body breaking down in pain giving up.She had no energy.

Doc-"Come on Varna push.You can do it."

She was covered in sweat and crying.Rib crushing pain and difficulty to breathe.All she was holding on to his hand.His words as he whispered to her.

V-"Just one more time.Please.I promise.No pain can touch you after this."

Her loud shrieks could be heard and he wished to take away all her pain at moment.His heartbeat increased and he couldnt feel pain her nails were giving on his skin.More was pain she was going through.

Var-"Ahhh.I cant."

She cried loudly.Such was pain of bringing a life into this world.Her throat dried up and she shut her eyes tight.And with it she couldnt hold onto her patience anymore.

A loud cry and last push the operation theatre engulfed in silence.With tensed faces and Vivaan holding on to her hand with eyes closed.

Varna's head touched pillow she fell back drained.Loud cries of new born could be heard.A fighter was born making everyone smile.Vivaan and Varna heard the cries as both opened their eyes.They knew their baby was there.They made it but the moment was too fragile.

Doc-"Congratulations Varna.Mr Vivaan its a baby girl.She is adorable."

The words felt like anything short of victory to them.They won over everything.Vivaan smiled in tears still not able to decipher moment.Varna was too weak the fresh pain still she was smiling and crying.

Vivaan kissed her forehead and he touched with his.The moment was broken as nurse got their baby handing it over to them.Their baby wrapped in white cotton fabric.So tiny and precious. Varna though couldnt sit she had support of her husband.Who held their baby girl.Her eyes were closed.She moved and it felt like dream.Both were in tears looking at bundle of joy.Varna kissed her baby and Vivaan did same.A new chapter in their life begins.

Congratulations its a baby girl for Vivaan and Varna❤😂the more Im into writing towards end of this story Im feeling nostalgic.Part of me dont want the end but it has to.Next chapter will be long enough filled with moments.
