Hello.

Yeah it has been a while. To make the point of it brief, I have indeed lost interest in writing. I have a lot of stuff going on, which is more pertinent to writing fanfiction. I logged on because I remembered this randomly, and came to find out that people are still reading this, commenting, and much more. I am a little amazed, to be honest, that people still sort of like my stuff, no matter how few there are.

I love to make stories. I love to write. I love to put the ideas from my head and see it on paper, but what I didn't realize is that it takes time, careful planning, and patience to make a good story. I read through this book, and its pretty ass to be honest. I began writing this when I was around 15 years old, and I am damn near 18 now. It is a little wild to think about it now compared to back then, writing fanfiction out of all things. I don't regret it, not even a little bit.

Specifically, for The Shadow of the Sword, this was my first ever fanfiction, starting all the way back in 2023, the summer of that year. I didn't exactly know that I would do it for around 50 chapters, with google docs of lore written up in my folders. I just couldn't exactly pinpoint the "why" or the "what does this all build up to" for the story. I went all in, focusing on the big scenes while falling apart in the small ones. I am grateful I wrote this though, and I am grateful to all of you as well, but it wasn't going to happen, especially since I began to lose interest as well.

Shit happened, I had to grow up.

Regardless, thank you all for being there, reading, commenting, voting, and whatever else you can do here. I appreciate it all. I am sorry, but I really don't see this story continuing any further, and I believe the same for all of my other books. But thanks anyway.
