DESPITE WHAT Daniel said about Luna the other day after Eli and the rest of Johnny's dojo walked out of Miyagi-Do.
Since Johnny and Daniel aren't mature enough to work together for the kids sake.
Luna, alongside Harmony stand out the back of the dojo awaiting for news off Daniel about the competition.
While Sam punches and uses techniques on the boxing bag with Demetri sparring her.
"Easy. Save some for Cobra Kai." Demetri states wide eyed looking at the LaRusso girl.
"Yeah. If we're ever allowed to stand up to them." Sam mutters continuing punching and kicking the bag with controlled grunts.
Harmony looks at Luna as Daniel steps out from the small cabin.
"Hey, everyone, gather round. I have news," Daniel exclaims capturing everyone's attention as they gather around.
"The All Valley committee just announced big changes for the tournament." Daniel states holding up the letter from the committee.
"What kind of changes?" Sam curiously questions, "Well, see for yourself. It's a whole new ball game." Daniel responds handing Sam the letter.
As Demetri, Luna, Harmony and the others gather around Sam to read the letter as well.
"They're introducing skills competitions?" Demetri wonders looking up from the letter at Daniel.
"Yep." Daniel confirms nodding his head, "Kata, board breaking, weapons display?" Demetri says listing off the new competitions.
"And there's gonna be a separate girls' division. So that means..." Sam voices looking at her father.
"There'll be two All Valley champs." Daniel utters holding up two fingers to explain.
"But wait─ what does that mean for the bet with Cobra Kai?" Chris inquires.
"There's a Grand Champion trophy for whichever dojo wins the most points." Daniel says.
Sam folds the letter looking at Luna and Harmony with an anxious lip before looking back at her dad.
"All I know is the girls' division is mine. Unless you two want in?" Sam states before asking the two girls.
"Nope. I'm happy with you doing that. I wouldn't want to become anymore than a disappointment, than I already am." Luna mutters not looking at her adoptive father at all.
