"Have you talked to Shawn yet?" Emily asks during physics.

"No, it hasn't even been 24 hours since you asked me to, gosh." I hush Emily but our teacher has already seen us talking.

"Girls, is there something you'd like to say to the class?"

"Just how hot Nicole thinks Shawn is." Emily blurts out, making the class giggle. My cheeks turn a violent red and I keep my head down.

"Then Nicole can be Shawn's partner for our next project!" Mrs. Emery gives Emily and I a nasty glare and partners up the rest of the class.

"Now's your chance to talk to Shawn for me. Make me look desirable." Emily whispers sharply in my ear before walking to her partner.

Science class seemed to never end, and sitting next to Shawn was more than embarrassing. Mrs. Emery seemed to go on and on about our project. We were to build a machine using certain items that made some type of energy. Shawn and I chose chemical, the hardest, but we'd get extra points. The bell rang as our teacher wrote our due date on the board. We had 2 weeks.

"So, you think I'm hot?" Shawn smirks at me while packing his things.

"Well I- uh- I never said that." As usual, I blush immediately.

"So I'm not?" Shawn pouts and gives me puppy eyes.

"Well... okay, yes. Your very attractive." I bite my lip and wish I could take it back.

"When you do that, your pretty sexy yourself." Shawn chuckles. "So, wanna come over after school and start this project?"

"Yea!" I say a little to enthusiastically and Shawn laughs.

"Catch you later then," Shawn walks down the hall and I watch him the whole way. Ah, he is a beautiful creation.

I stop at my locker to grab a change of clothes and then walk to gym class. Ew, who likes physical education anyway? I was the first one into the locker room so I decided to just change behind the wall of lockers. As I was slipping my sneakers on, the rest of the girls trailed in, all giggling about something.

"What's the laughing about?" I ask Meg, one of the girls in my class.

"Um.. I'm sorry." Meg blushes and walks away. What is that all about?
