"Uhh...." I said not being able to speak because of his cuteness. I mentally face palmed myself. "My name is Brooklyn" He smiled again. He loves to smile probably because of his straight white teeth and dimples.

"Cool name." Now it was my turn to smile. Unlike everyone else I don't have dimples.

"Well I guess I'll see you around" he said walking away,technically more like running. I didn't really get a chance to say anything back. Oh well. I quickly made my way to the main office.

"Hello,hello, my name is Mrs.Evergreen and I work at this desk. Is there anything you need sweetheart?" the lady behind the desk chirped.

Her positive energy was really rubbing off on me. Maybe this day won't be so bad after all.

"Hi my name is Brooklyn Bika, and I'm new." I responded.

"Ahh right, here's your schedule and homeroom is the 4th door to your right." I thanked her and rushed to my homeroom. I entered and saw that Jack was there. We made some eye contact but that was it. I walked up to the teacher's desk. He told me his name was Mr.Alda but to just call him John. Cool, a teacher I can call by their first name! We basically did the new kid stuff. I stood in front of the class and said my name and where I was originally from and all that stupid shit. Goddammit really need to stop cursing.

Anyway he was about to assign me to a student so that they could show me around. It was this girl named Rain. We both were named after specific things so I think we might get along.

Anyway the whole day I hung around her. Turns out she was sorta a loner so it was just us two most of the time. She was really chill and cool to hang around with. At lunch I paid for a burrito. It wasn't chipotle good but it was decent. When I was walking back to Rain someone bumped into me. The person's pizza fell right onto my shirt and smeared tomato sauce all over the white numbers. No doubt I was pissed that I was gonna have to walk around the rest of the day like this, but I could always just wash it.

The thing was the whole entire cafeteria was silent and looking at me,and the person who bumped into me, which is still yet to be determined. It made me very nervous.

"Omg I'm so sorry." It's Jack I thought.

" You know we really have to stop meeting like this." I said just to break the silence and awkwardness. Most of the people in the cafeteria have gone back to their usual business. Except one girl who kept giving me dirty looks.

"Who's that?" I asked him.

"Ohh thats my girlfriend Marisol." Makes sense. She was gorgeous. Long blonde hair and dazzling blue eyes, like Jack.

"Oh well, I came to school with white numbers and am definitely walking around with red ones for the rest of the day. " I joked.

"Haha my bad. Since it was my fault for not looking where I was going here's my hoodie!" He took off his gray hoodie and gave it to me. It matched my joggers and it was kind of his fault so I accepted.

"Also my number so I can contact you." he smiled reassuringly and I couldn't say no.

"Ok fine. And thanks for the sweater. I'll give it back to you at the end of the day."I replied grateful for this cute boy's kindness.

"Nah its ok, keep it. I have like 20 of the same ones at home." he laughed.

"Wow thanks!" I turned and walked away back to my original destination. The rest of the day was normal and I just walked home to plop down on my bed and scroll through Instagram and Twitter. I couldn't tell if today was a complete disaster or a pretty kick-ass school day.
