Chapter 11: The First Steps in London-

The only thing that could possible ruin my day was if I got killed, but then again I'd probably still be happy because I was where I'd always wanted to be. I was smiling at pretty much everybody that walked by. I was probably looking pretty looney. But I didn't care one bit.

Wen I was strolling down the street it was POURING. I also didn't have an umbrella handily. But everybody else did of course. The only thing I had at that moment was my leather jacket and my beanie, which provided no warmth or coverage from the gallons of rain that fell upon the streets.

My goal was to find a nice coffee shop, but I had no idea where I was going. I eventually settled on a small cafe on the corner. It looked warm and cozy. I walked in and was welcomed by the homey feeling it brought.

There was a fireplace on a wall with a fire crackling and popping. In front there were giant, plush, chairs, that looked like they've had a few years worn into the cloth. On the walls hung pictures if all sorts; people walking by the Eiffel Tower holding hands, dogs playing poker, and beautiful nature shots. There was a long counter in the back of the tiny shop holding sweets and treats that made my mouth water.

I didn't realize how hungry I had become. The cookies were so appealing to the eye that I HAD to buy one.

I was greeted at the counter by a rather large woman, probably in her lat 50's or early 60's. she had outrageous red curly hair, that flew in all different directions. She looked like she would give anybody a hug. That made me smile.

"What can I do for you honey?" The woman asked with a large grin across her face. Her accent appealed to me.

"Umm.." I stuttered a bit, "I'll have a tea and one of those chocolate chip cookies. Please?" I don't know why but I was a bit nervous, it was quite stupid.

"That'll be £2 dear" I handed her my money that I switched out.

"Thank you ma'am." I said giving her a grin. A few minutes later she brought my tea and cookies to me. I thanked her.

"So how long have you been in London my dear?" She asked me sitting down at the opposite chair from me. We were sitting in front of the fireplace.

"Well, I just arrived her from New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. I'm going to live here. I'm just so happy!" I exclaimed to her.

"That is great! I'm so happy you love it. I think you will really enjoy it. If you ever need me, I will always be here." This made me happy. She patted my on the leg and stood up.

"Thank you so much. May I ask your name?" I asked

"Joann." She said.

"Joann, you have been so kind to me. Thank you."

I sat by the fire looking out the window at the rain. I sipped my delicious tea and ate my scrumptious cookie. They were amazing. I left a tip in the tip jar and walked out the door. I knew I would defiantly be back soon.

I looked for a hotel that wasn't much money, but I didn't know at all where I was going. I was looking everywhere but in front of me, then BAM! I was on my butt! I didn't even know how. I feel backwards and hit my head pretty hard in the pavement. My jeans split and my hands were scrapped and bloody. I realized I was in a puddle.

Two hands reached down and picked me up. They were strong and firm. They were also warm considering how cold it was outside.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry love! I didn't see where I was going and I bumped into you. Oh no. You're bleeding. I can't believe how clumsy I was! Let me take you to my flat and I'll bandage you all up." He was talking so fast his words were really jumbled up. When he said take me to his flat I was a little cautious. I didn't even know the boy! But I was starting to see stars and I was bleeding pretty bad.

He hailed a taxi and opened the door for me. And he put my suitcase in after i got in.He looked really worried and sorry. But the thing was he looked really familiar. But I couldn't really tell because it was dark, he had a hood on, and my head was spinning. He gave the driver his address.

I held my head in my hands. I don't know why I was so dizzy. I must've hit my head really hard. My hands were still bleeding a bit and I was shivering from falling into the puddle. I glanced at the guy who helped me and hurt me. He was gorgeous. That's when I realized who it was. It was Zayn Malik from One Direction.
