That I'd Rather

There's nothing that I'd rather do

When I'm sitting around and talking to you

I wish that I could talk all day

But sometimes life gets in the way

So when I'm beaten down by fate

When lights are dim and it's getting late

I will not cry myself to sleep

Instead I'll have new thoughts to keep

Don't worry bout hearts and how they break
