And lo!

To the stork lest he streak on high

And lo!

Hail the babe, 'To the crib!' Thou cry

And 'Lo!'

Warns the stork, says he 'praise the sky!'

For all I could say,

   Live until you die!'

'But lo!'

Whines the babe, re our lonely earth

'There's a woman down there

   and to I she birth!'

'Still lo!'

   Gripes the stork

'I say fare thee well

While above be a heaven below be a hell!'

'Say lo!'

   Pleads the babe,

'I could be a light

To your god forsaken world, I could make it right!'

Yes lo!

I can say what thou said was true

For the babe

   Yes the babe

Well the babe

   Was you

So that was kind of a different style of poetry that I'm trying out . . . I guess it works. Let me know what you think! xoxox
