Beast Boy's P.O.V.
Robin walked out. I looked over at Fallon, who looked startled.
"Sorry,"I said, but she just smiled.
"It's fine," she said, blushing then looking down. I did the same.
"Should you go..." she started, but I finished.
"Yeah, talk to you later?" I asked. She smiled again.
"Yeah," she said. I went to get dressed, and walked out to go see Robin in the training room. He no longer looked furious, but now looked concerned.
"What?" I asked. He shook his head.
"It's too soon. Don't get attached. I don't want it to happen again," he responded.
"Don't want what to happen again? Terra? It won't. Because I won't let it."
"I'm worried about her. She seems... Different. And not in the best way, either. Don't get hurt," he said just as the others walked in for training.
"Beast Boy? Early? For training?" Raven said, "it's a miracle." Fallon, who had walked in with them, snickered along with everyone else.
"Alright, let's get started," Robin said, "first things first, let's check put what you can do." He pointed at Fallon. She stepped forward, head down.
"I don't know if I have any powers, a lot of things have changed in the past two days," she said.
"Well, focus," Robin said and she closed her eyes. "Focus... Try to summon... Fire?" He must've been thinking of the disaster we found her in. She put her hand out, and opened her eyes, and her iris was red. Her hand lit up. Everyone's eyes widened, including her own. "Okay," Robin said, "now try to summon... Water." She closed her eyes once again in concentration. A blob of water appeared in her hand. Now her eyes were... bright blue. "Air." This time air swirled all around her, lifting her hair up. "Earth... On second thought... Wait... Let's go outside for that later. Let's check out your combat skills. What do you think you can do?"
"I took a little Judo when I was ten," she said, taking a fighting stance.
"Let's see what you've got," Robin said, getting in a similar stance. They approached each other, and their hands grappled for a good grip on each other's shirts. Speaking of clothing, it looked like Starfire had lent Fallon a spare t-shirt and and shorts. Back to the fighting, Fallon had a good grip on Robin, and she feinted a trip, but flung him over her shoulder. The whole room gasped. They continued, Robin keeping Fallon in... guard? I think that was what it was called. She tried to go for a choke hold, but Robin took this as an opportunity and flipped over. Now she was in guard. Robin did some bizarre twist move, and caught Fallon in an armbar. She tapped out.
"Not bad," he said, letting her go.
"Thanks," she said. Dang I was going to have to get some lessons from her.
"Dude, that's awesome!" I said to Fallon, "almost no one takes Robin down!" She blushed and looked down in a cute way.
"Thanks," she replied. Starfire spoke up.
"Friend, why are you so grateful for everything?" She looked down again.
"I didn't get too much back at my old place," she said, "no one was ever really all that nice to me."
"Surely you had friends back at your old place of living, right?" Fallon looked hurt. So I changed the subject.
"Who wants to go get pizza?" I asked, throwing my hands in the air. She gave me a grateful look as everyone else agreed. We all hopped in the T-car and headed down to the pizza place. We were listening to the radio, and Royals came on. I started singing along.
"And we'll never be royals (royals). It don't run in our blood, That kind of luxe just ain't for us. We crave a different kind of buzz. Let me be your ruler (ruler), I'm in love with being green," Fallon laughed. "And baby I'll rule, I'll rule, I'll rule, I'll rule. Let me live that fantasy," I finished.
"You're a really bad singer," Raven said. I gave her google eyes.
"I love you too Rae-Rae." Raven gave me a death glare, and Fallon looked a little hurt. We pulled into the pizza place.
"We are not getting meat," I said.
"Yes we are!" Cyborg protested. Everyone but Fallon groaned. She laughed.
"Ooookaaaaay..." Robin said, "how 'bout we let Fallon decide?" She blushed.
"It can have meat," she started, Cyborg celebrating and me putting a puppy dog face on, "but no pork or beef."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Cyborg asked, "that's the only type of meat." Fallon smirked.
"Then cheese it is," she said as she walked in. Cyborg pouted while I celebrated. I wonder if she actually doesn't eat beef or pork. That would be interesting. We all followed her, and Robin payed. We were all eating happily in comfortable silence, but Starfire had to speak up.
"You never told us of your place of living," she said, smiling. Fallon's happy expression disappeared.
"Sorry, but I don't really want to talk about it." What was up with her? We finished eating, and left. Our communicators went off. "It's okay," I said, "you can tell us when you're ready."
"Trouble!" Robin shouted, and we all ran/flew around a corner. All of us except Fallon. I turned and went back.
"You coming?" I asked, "because I'm sure you could help." I smiled. She lifted her head.
"I'll come," she said, and we ran around the corner together.
