I had sat here, just watching Fallon for a while. If the rest of the team didn't come back in five minutes, I was going to go after them. It didn't matter what they wanted. I stood up and walked over to the wall. I set my head against it and pretty much just dwelled in self pity. I must've been like that for some time, because a voice broke the silence.
"Whatever you think it was, it wasn't your fault." I turned to see Fallon awake. She smiled as I turned, and I smiled back, rushing over to the bed. She pulled me in and kissed me. Fallon pulled out, and leaned her forehead on mine. We sat like that forever, just smiling, staring into each other's eyes. I have no idea how much time passed, but we were interrupted by someone clearing their throat. I looked up to see Cy and immediately felt blood rush to my cheeks. "Oh my gosh, what happened?" I heard Fallon say. That's when I saw Dakota in his arms. Cy walked over and placed her in the bed next to Fallon's.
"I assume she took a beating from Slade," Cy responded, hooking Dakota up to the machines the same way he did Fallon. He got her all hooked up. "Looks like a broken nose and a broken rib," he said.
"She'll be okay, though, right?" Fallon asked. Her eyes were full of worry. How did she know this girl?
"Yeah," Cy responded, "she'll be fine." She nodded, her worry replaced with relief. Just then, Robin walked in.
"Fallon, I have some questions for you," Robin asked. Fallon once again looked worried.
"Fire away," she responded, ignoring her fear.
"What did Slade mean by 'sending you back?' and how do you know Dakota here? And why were you working with Slade? What do you know about us?" Robin asked.
"Woah woah woah," I said, "one at a time, dude." Robin gave me a look that said 'stay out of it.'
"Well, its a long story," Fallon started. We all sighed, "but I guess I have no choice she finished, looking down. "I'm not sure if you'll believe me, but, if it means anything, everything I'm about to say is completely and utterly true." We all nodded as Raven and Starfire walked in.
"Hey, Fallon was just about to tell us something that I think you guys need to hear," Robin said.
"It'll be long, so I suggest you all take a seat," Fallon said. She waited a moment for us all to sit down. "Believe me if you will, but this is not the only world that exists. I come from an alternate dimension, but not like the alternate dimension Raven or Harold are from. In my world, you guys are in a TV show called Teen Titans that they cancelled a while back. Dakota and I loved it so much. We watched every episode repeatedly and watched the movie several times. The movie wasn't the best, and Dakota hated it when Robin and Starfire kissed." Robin and Starfire blushed at that. "Let's just say she's not a shipper of RobStar."
"Excuse me friend Fallon, what does the 'RobStar' mean? And how does it apply to boats?" Starfire asked. Fallon chuckled.
"You guys were in a TV show, and when there's Tv shows, there are fandoms. Fandoms are groups of people who love the TV show or the movie or the book. And when there are Fandoms, there are Fanfictions. Fanfictions are make believe stories of at least one character and another or one character and a made up person. Shipping is when you take two characters from any TV show, movie, or book and create love stories about them. Let's just say Robin and Starfire were shipped a lot." Robin and Starfire blushed yet again. "So anyways," Fallon continued, "We loved your show. Then Dakota dissapeared. I thought she moved, but she apparently came here. She was my only friend. When she left, I became a nobobody. No one payed attention to mem or cared much about me. Then my parents..." sheclosed here eyes and looked down, "then they..." she paused again, "but I knew what she was going to say. "They... died." A sob escaped her mouth, and I pulled her closer to me. She pulled herself together. "I had no one, so I became a soccer referee and rented an apartment. I lived on my own. Then a man came to me. He granted me one wish. He told me he could give me whatever I wanted. So i wished to come to this universe. He told me there was a price. I asked him what it was, and he only said he'd owe me a little 'favor' later. He handed me a contract and me, being so close to what I'd wanted most, foolishly signed it without reading it at all. That man was Slade. His little 'favor' ended up being destroying you guys. If I didn't do it, he told me he'd send me back. I ended up being stupid again, but I realized that I'd rather go back then hurt you guys. Especially Beast Boy." All eyes turned to me. I instantly felt blood rushing up to my cheeks once again. Dang, this girl. "And you know the rest from there."
"And what about how much you know about us?" Cy asked.
"I know pretty much everything. Your villains, your issue, what you've done, etcetera," Fallon said. everyone in the room blushed now. I wonder... did she know me? Probably. But I had to know for sure.
"Since you haven't really seen me fight," Raven said, "what do I say?" Fallon laughed.
"That's easy," Fallon said, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
"And," said Raven, "since most people already know, where do I keep my thoughts and feelings?" Fallon laughed again.
"Another easy one? Your hand mirror!" she responded. Wow. She must know my name, my history.
"What group did I start with?" I asked.
"Doom Patrol, it's why you wear the colors you wear," she responded, "and you used to wear this funny little hat mask." Wow again. She really does know. Everyone in the room was astonished. Someone comes here and knows everything about us already! Well, two people.
"Who is Red X?" Robin asked.
"Well," Fallon said, "he started out as you being an antihero trying to get close to Slade, but someone stole the suit and became Red X himself and he always calls you kids." Fallon smiled as Robin's eyes widened.
"I think I speak for everyone when I say," Cy said, "that we believe you."
