Austin Butler as Bradley

On the way towards my room I heard yelling causing me to stop and look around the empty hall. I noticed Audrey's door was slightly open allowing me to see what was going on inside. "You're my mate, why wont you talk to me. I know you feel the connection, even if you haven't shifted!" it shocked me to hear my best friend's voice break. However this guy was I'm going to beat his ass!

"Come on! talk to me!" Audrey was greeted with silence. I couldn't exactly see who she was yelling at so I had no idea who her mate was. "Mike talk to me!" woah, what the hell is going on? my brother is her mate? shit!

I didn't have time to process it all because her door was pulled open by my angry red eyed little brother. He didn't even spare me a glance, just walked off as if he didn't see me. My mouth hung wide open. Mike and Audrey? no way!

Glancing towards Audrey's room I noticed her lying on the her bed curled up holding a pillow to cry onto. Once she saw me her mouth opened, "He hates me Autumn. Why won't he talk to me? I'm his mate." she cried, making my heart break into pieces. But there was nothing I could do but be there for her.

"He's going through some things Audrey. Its not you, it just he's having a tough time lately." which was true. I knew my brother -- everyone knew he was depressed. Yet no one knew why. "But I'm supposed to make everything better for him. How am I supposed to do that when he won't even let me in?" Audrey wrapped her arm around me and cried.

"Not everyone want's help." I whispered.

"He does. I can see it in his eyes Autumn. He wants me to help him, but he doesn't want to admit it." wiping the tears away from her eyes with the back of her hand she sighed, leaning up against the white bed board. "He's been here the whole time and I thought he was out in the world somewhere else. I didn't bother looking for my mate here, why didn't I look? I could've had him this whole time." she rambled, running her hands through her blonde curly locks.

"Why didn't you?" I questioned. If I was mateless and actually looking for the guy I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with I'd look for him every single location I'm in. "I don't know. Its just everyone already had their mate. All the guys here had mates and the ones that didn't have one wasn't mine, so I stopped looking here, and all this time it's been Mikey."

I gave her a small smile. "It'll take time for him to process it. He haven't shifted so the mate pull isn't affecting him as much as it is to you. Give him time."

"I want him now Autumn, I can't spend anymore time away for him!" she snapped, pulling at her hair. Standing out of bed she wondered out the room with tears streaking down her face. "I just need time alone. I'm going for a run."

Sighing I flopped my head back on her comfy pink pillow and closed my eyes.

Mike and Audrey are mates.

"Mike stop glaring at people like that." I nudged him gaining his attention. We were walking in school getting odd looks from people, Mike being my younger brother meaning he has the 'I'm a tough bitch' syndrome he gave them all the finger.

"Stop. We don't need anyone hating us around here--" I was cut from the rest of my sentence when Bradley walked over and placed his arm around my shoulder. Mike glared at him before walking off.

"Nice to meet you too little dude." Bradley yelled after him. Rolling my eyes I removed his arm and opened my locker. "What's up with you today? you seem quiet."

"Nothing its just Mike's acting a little weird and I'm worried about him. He's been...angry a lot, more than usual and I can't help but feel like there's something going on. "He's what fourteen fifteen?"

"Fifteen." I answered gathering my history book. "It's normal for a guy his age to act pissed off all the time. "

Yeah right.

"Well its not normal for my brother. I know he doesn't talk an all but being rude is way out of proportion. He's never been rude before, ever." even when people called him a freak he didn't pay attention to them, but now he's firing back.

"It'll be alright."

"I hope so."

In class I felt Greyson's eyes on me. Glancing over my shoulder I got my guess right, his eyes where directly on me. My cheeks heated up, making me turn my attention back on Mr. Thompson. This class was the most boring class I've ever had, the teacher spoke way to lowly - and it sounded as if he had a mouth full of drool.

"Mr. Thom needs one of those things that suck out the spit out of your mouth when you go to the Dentist. God, I can't understand shit he's saying." a laugh escaped my mouth, glaring at Bradley I asked, "A saliva ejector?"

Waving his hands around with a cheesy grin on his face he nodded. "Yeah, that shit."

"You're an idiot." shaking my head I returned my glaze back at the board. "That's why I'm here, to learn."

The rest of the class went on like that; Bradley and I making jokes about Mr. Thompson. A few times I heard small growl from Greyson. What's his deal? On the way out I felt someone - as in someone I mean Grey grip my wrist causing sparks to travel everywhere. He glared behind me before his eyes connected with mine.

"You don't want me seeing Becky, I don't want you seeing that fucker." he gritted out. I felt my lips tug up. He was jealous. Greyson Parker was jealous. "He's a friend. I can talk to him if I want."

"That's how it is? I see." what the hell is he talking about? "Becky!" he suddenly yelled, eyes glancing behind me.

Looking over my shoulder I saw none other that Bitchy-Becky. She strolled in the class, eyes connecting with mine and a smile played on her lips. "Yes, Greyson?" gag!

Greyson's eyes stayed connected with mine challenging me to say something or maybe even break Becky's neck. Well, he isn't going to win, if that's how he want's to play then he better get ready to loose. Sighing he stepped away from me  and wrapped his arm around Becky's waist and tilted his head down and molded his lips to hers.

I was pissed, but I wasn't going to let it show, he wanted to play games. I'll show him how to play!

I was left wanting to rip them both apart from head- to-toe. A feeling of hurt tugged at my chest. Balling up my fist I continued to watch them until Greyson pulled his lips away from hers. Smirking I walked over and brought my thumb up to wipe the pink lipstick on the side of his mouth.

His eyes slightly widen. "Next time, I suggest you kiss someone with less makeup. It'll rub off on you." with a sweet smile I turned to walk away swaying my hips a little more than I'd like, but if it made Greyson want me then this is going to be the hardest game he's ever played.
