Chapter 10 Is this Love?

I know it's been a while since I've updated, I'm very sorry, kume kume. But I'm so happy for all the positive comments telling me the update so here its is finally chapter 11! The start of school kept me away but now I'm back to update regularly on Fridays at least I'll try ;)

After the 6 men found their way back to the palace many things took place. Shinobu, a messenger, roamed the town once more to deliver for his job. How ever he put a big fuss before going back to his work because of his attachment to Miyagi. Miyagi was thoroughly embarrassed, but whispered sweet words in the young dirty blonde's ear to send him on his way. Hiroki, still befuddled by Nowaki's background, was very surprised to come in contact with him again. But utterly happy in being able to though he  doesn't show it at all. Nowaki spent the day with Hiroki away from the palace, Nowaki was still fearful of other fairies finding out about his feelings when he was supposed to be fixing Misaki's life. Misaki and Akihiko.... well let's just say their arrival at the palace evoked problems. Several problems.

Akihiko's Pov

Akihiko, I can not allow this! my father yelled at me bursting into the front chamber. I sat there on the couch, closely to Misaki. I sighed and in an innocent voice said, but father this is the person I told you about, you never specified what gender it had to be to marry. My father's wrinkled face fumed in anger. I need airs! and this he said while gesturing to Misaki, will not provide them. Misaki's green orbs filled with sadness as a look of shock spread across his face. M-Married? King Fuyuhiko, I didn't know what I was getting into, I just got dragged here. N-Now I would like to leave, Misaki finished getting up from the couch and storming out of the palace. My father stood with a triumphant look on his face, as I followed Misaki out of the palace quickly.

Misaki! Misaki wait! I called pacing up behind the small brunette's frame. He kept walking  forward so I grabbed his wrist and swung him around to face me. I could see a small blush creep up on his face and his puffy red eyes. He'd been crying. Misaki, I sighed as I placed my hand on his face rubbing it gently. I could feel him tense at my touch and avert my eyes. Hey how about we eat lunch on the balcony, I suggest taking Misaki's small hand into mine and dragging him back inside. Against his protests of course.

On the balcony we sat at a small table as the head chef brought us the lunch prepared for today. Is it good, I asked Misaki sitting across from me. He blushed lightly and nodded his head, looking down. Ho cute. Y-you know prince Akihiko I think I might l-like you t-too, Misaki stuttered out turning a deep shade of red. I felt something that I haven't felt in a long time. I smiled, a genuine smile staring into Misaki's emerald eyes. I thought  I said to call me Usagi, I said taking Misaki's hand into mine as his face deepened in color once more. Though I didn't see how it was possible. I love you Misaki, I said.

Misaki's Pov

My heart was beating so fast when I finally confessed to prince Akihiko. I was sure I was as red as a tomato by now. Even more when he smiled at me and took my hand. However my mind was racing with so many thoughts and questions. Marriage?  why does the prince like me? What have I done? I don't want to be a burden. Cause trouble for the king? When is my family coming back. Will I be in that cottage all alone? Why is my heart beating so fast when he smiles at me. Is this love?

Kinda of short I know again sorry. Surprisingly (not really) this is coming to an end in about 3 or 4 chapters so be patient my fellow fans. I even have ideas for a sequel. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
