Chapter 6 "Truth"

"Fine Tay..." He sighs and lets out a shaky breath

"I-I like you Taylor Hemmings." He said looking down at his fumbling hands. I look at him shock evident on my face. Is this some kind of joke? He liked me? I stare at him and he lifts up his head returning my gaze. I can't help but stare into his hazel eyes.

"I like you too." I say soft and warmly. I see his grin smile ear from ear and so do I. he starts leaning in closing his eyes and before I can process what I'm doing I'm also leaning in for my first kiss.

"Uh, I'll come back later." I hear a familiar voice say. I look up to Calum standing in the door way. We both look at him I blush and look down and he chuckles at my shyness and embarrassment. I see Ash get up out of the corner of my eye.

"I think I'm going to go actually so see you tomorrow Tay." I smile at him, nod and wave him bye. Cal looks to me then to Ash and smirks evil. I face palm knowing what was coming next.

"I fucking told you so Tay!" He whisper yelled. I roll my eyes and lay down and look at the ceiling. "Well I just came to say I'm leaving so bye Tay Tay." I giggle at my new nickname.

"Bye." I reply tiredly about to drift off too sleep. He walks out and thats when I fall fully asleep.

"I wake up and scream as loud as I can at a figure standing in front of me. They touch my shoulder and I scream louder than I ever have.

"Tay shut the fuck up its me Court!" She whisper yells. I look up at her face and sigh in relief. "Damn I knew you could scream but not that loud, I think you busted an eardrum." She says poking her finger in her ear. I see Luke run to the doorway of my room.

"What the- Oh you scared her didn't you?" He asks Court laughing.

"Yea well I started poking her and then she screamed and yea." She laughs as well. A couple seconds later I see Ash now in the doorway with only sweats on, and may I say he looked hot.

"Why were you screaming?!" He says a bit out of breath.

"She was standing by my bed when I woke up and I thought she was going to kill me or something." I say pointing at Court. He sighs a breath of relief. I get up and walk down stairs noticing I only had a over sized t-shirt on and my underwear. I hear someone enter the kitchen as I get my usual muffin and coffee.

"Can I have a bite?" I turn around and see Ash smirking. I hand him the muffin so he can take a bite. I have my back against the counter sipping my coffee watching his every move. He hands me my muffin and walks out smirking. I walk out with him and sit by him on the couch with my legs crossed.

"So are you guys dating yet or what?" Court asks casually. I almost spit out the bite of my muffin I just took. Ash seems unaffected by this question.

"No not yet." Ash replies. I feel my stomach drop when he says that and I feel my heart brake.I thought he liked me. He was probably pulling a joke. He also said not yet so thats always good right?

"I'm going to go upstairs and get ready." I said getting up to put my finished coffee cup in the sink. I head up stairs and hop in the shower. I got out and just put on some concealer, and put my hair into a ponytail, with 2 short pieces of hair by my ear coming out. it took all of 10 minutes for all of it. I new today was going to be a comfy day so I grabbed some sweats and a sports bra. I know what your thinking just a sports bra? And yes thats what my comfy day outfit consists of.
