Chapter 7 "Official?"

Someone grabs my wrist and pulls me in their car.

I Scream until I see the familiar face until I realize its the face I'm mad at. I turn away from Ash and cross my arms.

"What Ashton?" I say getting more upset at the mention of his name

"Look I know your mad at me and I think I know why but I'm not sure." He says still thinking.

"Why am I mad then?" I ask angrily.

"When I shook my head no when they were asking if we were together?" He asks full of hope I just stay silent. He starts the car and starts driving I stay quite. I see us pull up to a lake but not just any lake. It had a bench and roses all over It was romantic.  I look over at Ash and see him smiling at me. He gets out of the car and walks over to my side to open my door. He leads me to the bench and faces me.

"I said that because I didn't want to make you uncomfortable." He says and rests his hand on my knee. I let it slide because I'm physically drained. He lifts up my chin and has me look in his eyes.

"I like you, a lot." He says exaggerating the lot.

"Are you just joking with me, is this just another one of those pranks?" I say raising my voice.

"No why would you think tha- did someone date you as a joke before?" He asks concerned. I look down and nod. I can be a master at hiding emotions when I want to. "What happened?"

"Well It was December 19th 2014 this guy I had a crush on asked me out, and well the day before christmas he got me to kiss him but he missed and kissed the air. That next day on Christmas h-he um well he said things weren't working out and well he broke my heart. I later found out he got 15 dollars to date me, so I'm practically worth $15." I said looking Down at the grass holding in the pain thats shooting in every corner of my heart. I hold everything in.

"I would never do that to you." He says softly.

"Yea..."

"Can I see your wrist?"

"Ash, Why?"

"Because I want to see when you needed me the most but I wasn't there." I look him in the eyes and see hurt. I lay my bare wrist on his lap, He picks it up and examines them all. He leans down and kisses them I look up at him.

"Why?" He asks carefully

True Story-

"Well lets start from the beginning. 8th grade, I had a best friend and shed leave me a lot then hate me then we would be friends it was complicated but it hurt me, and I also had a bully who would hit me, drop things on me, call me names. 9th grade I had a new bully, She would call me ugly she would say I had big ears, that I'm a brat, that I was no good, and it really got to me. 10th grade, I was popular but weird, my 'Bestfriend' used me, I was talked about behind my back, I was ignored at home, My parents paid no attention to me actually they never did I had to learn how to cook at the age of 7. 11th grade is when That guy who broke me came in, after I got cyber bullied and lost my best-friend like all time best-friend, and by the end of the year I had no friends and if I did they were fake friends using me." By the end I was sobbing my eyes out "I-I would read s-suici-icde quotes, because they made me feel how I thought I should feel. Worthless. I attempted sui-suicide 5 t-tim-mes." I sobbed out. He wrapped me in a hug and I herd him sniffle a little bit. I wiped my tears and looked down at my hands. "Thats my story. What about you?"

"May I first say I can't believe you went through all of that, Your very strong and beautiful and don't deserve that, no one does. Also my story consists of my dad leaving me and me practically being Harry and Lauren's dad. And then About a week ago I saw this girl and she was amazing and turned my world upside down, and I really like her." He said I look in his eyes and he leans down Im about to have my first official kiss. Our lips touch and I feel a thousand weights being lifted off my shoulder. The butterflies erupt and I wrap my arms around his neck. He rests his hands on my hip and pulls me closer our lips move in sync. We brake the kiss and just stare into each others eyes it was a perfect moment. "Will you be my girlfriend?" My eyes go wide as he says this. I look down at my lap to think about this. I mean he is an amazing artist what if he gets a record deal and leaves me. I don't know if I can go through that pain again. I won't go through it again.

"Im sorry I just can't because if you get a record deal and leave you will definitely find someone way better than, well me." I said still looking at my hands. I puts his finger under my chin and makes me look up at him.

"I won't leave you, And there is no girl I would ever like more than you. Your beautiful, smart, vibrant, outgoing, amazing. Theres nothing better than that." He said leaning in for another kiss. I turn my head leading him to kiss my cheek.

"You don't want a broken girl..." I said taking a deep breath "No one does."

"Except me, I'll ask one more time and if its a no than I'll never ask again. Will you be my girlfriend?" I look at him and think. Do I really want to risk getting my heart braking. I'm pretty sure if he broke my heart I would be dead soon after. Would I really risk my life to love him and be loved by him? I would.

"Y-Yes." I said taking a deep breath hoping I made the right decision. He connects our lips once again and pulls me on to his lap. he holds me by the waist and picks me up. he detaches us and throws me into the lake. I swim to the surface and gasp for air. I feel something slash beside me. I look over to see Ashton right by my side holding my waist pulling me close to him.

"I really wanted to do that." He said and we started laughing. I felt like I had no problems when I was with him. I felt accepted for who I really was. We get out of the lake which ended with ashton falling face first into the water again. We got into his car and I looked out the window and put my knees to my chest. I buried my face in my knees. I couldn't get the though that i just coulee made the best or the worst mistake of my life. We drive to my flat listen to songs of his. We reach my flat and we get out of the car and see the living room light is still on. He grabs my hand and startles me. "Don't be scared." He says grinding.

"Sorry just a little over the edge after telling you my life story and all." I say look at the door in front of me that is opened by Ashton. We walk in to see all eyes on us and everyone smirking. I just look unamused and tired.

"So what happened?" Cal asked smirking like an idiot. "You look pretty sweaty." He hints further towards a certain subject id like to avoid. I give him my famous and very welly practiced death glare. he throws his hands up signaling he surrenders.

"Goodnight, I'll answer questions in the morning but for now I'm going to go get some sleep." I said yawning. I walk up stairs still holding on to Ash. We enter my room and I sit down on my bed and stretch.

"Hold on I'm going to go get something to eat quick bc I'm starving." He says pointing to the door. I nod and lay down looking at the ceiling. I hear footsteps leave my room.

"We need to talk about earlier." Luke says sternly. I roll my eyes and sit up and lean my back on the headboard of my bed.

"What?" I ask looking at my nails unamused.

"Once you left with Ash Court told us everything, what you went through, what you did." He says the last part quieter than the rest. "I just want you to know I get it and I also want you to know you can talk to me about anything." He says sincerely. I look up from my nails and look in his eyes.

"Thanks, but I'll pass." I said making him frown.

"Well you know where I am." He said leaving. I smash my face in my pillow and just lay there until someone jumps on the bed beside me. I look up and see everyone on my bed.

"Whattttttt." I said a bit annoyed. They al pounce on me and hug me. "Ow your crushing me!" I said pretending to suffocate . They all laugh and get off, I have to admit I was a little bit embarrassed about the earlier incident.
