Chapter 28

" Ello babe" nialls adorable accent ran through my ear phones as his face popped up on my laptop screen.

" hey Niall" I smiled sitting crossed legged on my bed.

" so how's college?" He asked.

" yeah good, I miss you though" I sighed.

" naw babe I miss you too but don't worry the three months will go fast and then we will be off to America in no time." He smiled and I smiled back.

" yeah I guess your right" I said.

" how's the new girl?" He asked me.

" yeah she's very, secretive" I said and he nodded.

" she might have a past she doesn't want to talk about" Niall said and I nodded.

" knock knock" a male voice came from the door.

" who's that?" Niall asked and I shrugged.

" who's there?" I say.

" Jack!" He yelled.

" Come in" I sighed as he opened the door and jumping on my bed.

" Jack!" I yell as my laptop falls and my ear phones come out.

" whoops sorry" he winced.

I huff, rolling my eyes as I grabbed my laptop and pulled my earphones out of it so Niall was on loud speaker.

" hey jack" Niall chuckled.

" Niall?" Jack said confused looking around the room. I face palmed at how stupid he is.

" Jack he's on Skype" I sighed rolling my eyes.

" ohhhhh!" Jack said as Niall and I laughed. Jack grabbed the laptop spinning it around so Jack was facing to laptop.

" how you going mate?" Jack said.

" I'm good, are you looking after my girlfriend?" Niall said and I chuckled rolling my eyes.

" yes yes I am. " Jack smirked.

" Jack why are you in here?" I whined.

" well I was going to ask if I could take Josie out for the day?" Jack asked.

" nawwwww of cause!" I said.

" alright thanks, I'll see you later tonight" Jack said hopping off my bed.

" bye have fun!" I said.

" will do, bye Niall" he waved to the laptop getting a bye back from Niall as Jack turned around and left my room.

I spun the laptop back to face me and I talked to Niall until around twelve. Niall had to go to rehearsals and El wanted to hang out.

" well I'll talk to you later" I said and he nodded running a hand through his hair.

" love you" Niall smiled blowing a kiss.

" love you too bye!" I said blowing a kiss back.

" don't worry you'll get a real kiss from me soon" Niall said and I smiled.

We said goodbye another time and we hung up. I got changed and got ready. I was about to walk out of my room when my phone went off. I rushed over to my phone and checked who texted me.

* unknown: we have some catching up to do darling*

I felt a shiver run down my spine. Who is this? I felt cold and scared. Why would someone want to catch up with me with a text like that?

Then I remembered last night. The message I deleted. It must of been the same person but who?

I deleted the message once again and put the phone in my pocket walking out of my room and down to the kitchen where El was talking on the phone. I smiled at her as I grabbed an apple and took a bite ignoring the text message.

" so what's up for today?" El said as she hung up.

" well there isn't much to do here in England but did you want to go shopping?" I asked.

" yeah sounds perfect, I'm ready so want to leave now?" El said gathering her keys and phone placing them into her handbag.

" yeah sure lets go"  I said grabbing my handbag as we walked out of the house locking the door behind us.

We got into the car as El drove to the shops.

" so any news with Niall and the boys?" she asked.

" nar just that they miss us and can't wait to see us in three months" I shrugged and she nodded.

" I heard Josie on the phone last night" El said nervously, like something bad happened.

" and?" I asked her facing her.

" she was crying and she seemed scared." El said.

" did you hear any of the conversation?" I asked.

" something about her going back" El shrugged. " I don't know it just didn't sound good and I'm scared for her" El said her eyes grassy.

" maybe we should talk to her after she gets back from her day with Jack" I said.

" ohhhhh jacks choppin in" El smirked and I smirked back nodding.

When we got to the shops we walked around going into every shop we liked. By lunch time our arms were full of shopping bags. We bought some lunch and took a seat.

" darcy?" I heard a quiet voice say. I looked up as so did El.

" alexia" I rolled my eyes.

" can we talk?" She politely said.

" alexia, there's nothing to talk about" I shrug.

" darcy please I miss our friendship" she said getting nervous, I could hear it in her voice.

" alexia you got to get it in your head, we aren't friends anymore and never will be again so why don't you go off and hang with your friend who's impatiently waiting for you" I said my lips pressed in a thin line.

She sighed as she turned around and walked away.

" darcy" Eleanor said.

" no" I said as I looked back down and ate my food in silence.

After, we started walking around again and El said she wanted a new pair of heels so we were in the shop, her trying shoes and I went off and bought some coffee for us.

" are you darcy styles?" Two young girls walked over to me.

" yes how may I help you" I smiled leaning on the wall waiting to be called for the coffees.

" can we maybe get a photo?" One of them shyly asked.

" oh no problem" I smiled as there mother took the photo and I smiled hugging the girls on each side of me. They said thanks and walked off as I got my coffees.

My phone started ringing as I stopped walking and pulled it out.

" Jack?" I ask answering the phone and trying to hold the coffees.

" darcy! I don't know where Josie went. She was with me one minute and then disappeared, it's been an hour and she hasn't come back!" He said.

" Jack calm down maybe she just got lost"

" no darcy, she whispered goodbye before she ran off" he sighed.
