Amiya

I have been helping artist all day write songs. I loved my job but I was exhausted today for some odd reason. Luckily, I was finishing up. I had just finished helping Natasha Mosely write her new song called Love Me Later. I loved this song and it's meaning but like I said before, I'm tired. After we finished, I grabbed my jacket and left. I drive home listening to Chris Brown's X album. Chris was my homie, lol.

He was always like a big brother to me, in the industry. He taught me a lot, actually. Outside of the industry, he also was a person I was real close with. He was just so honest, humble, and funny. Not to mention, his work ethic was amazing, it amazed me. I never understood how people jumped down his throat about his mistakes, like he is a human being. He can fuck up too, he's still learning. Chris temper wasn't even all that bad, but once the whole world seems against you, you would have a temper too.

I pulled up to my house, putting my car into the garage. I got out and locked my doors then went into the house. I turned my alarm off and went into the kitchen. I dropped my keys, phone, and purse onto the island. I took the small hair tie, that was on my wrist, and pulled my hair up. I sat my jacket down and took my heels off. I walked to the refrigerator, grabbed a Fiji water bottle then shutting the fridge. I opened the Fiji water, taking a small sip, then got my things together and took it upstairs. I changed into some exercise pants and a muscle tank top then slipped on my Nike slides. I made my way back downstairs, grabbed my phone and Fiji water. I decided to sit outside, since it was a pretty day out, plus it was quite early. I went outside and sat on the patio. I had a fairly big backyard, nice green grass, it was pretty cool.i scrolled down my Twitter feed, while drinking my water. I looked up, hearing a door open and shut. It was the guy that helped me yesterday. I didn't know he lived around here.. Especially not next door. I thought he was just on the street or something. I stared at him, admiring his beauty for a second, until he sensed it. I looked down, quickly, returning my attention to my Twitter feed.

?: "You know I can see you, right?" I looked at him.

Me: "Sorry, I wasn't trying to stare, I just didn't realize you lived here." He nodded.

Once again, I focused on my Twitter feed. Then, he interrupted again.

?: "Why you out here?"

Me: "It's August right?" He nodded. "Well, it's pretty out here, so why not?"

August: "You ain't even looking at the outside, you too busy in yo phone."

Me: "You don't have to be able to see or look around to find beauty." He got quiet.

August: "You mind?" I shook my head.

He walked off of his patio and onto mine. I looked at him, wondering why he had on a hat with no shirt.

Me: "Is it a reason for your appearance?" I asked in a chuckle.

August: "You got a problem with how I'm dressed?"

Me: "You aren't dressed, so no." He looked at me.

August: "You look hella familiar, I just can't put my finger on it. What's yo name?"

Me: "I told you, Amiya." He motioned for me to continue. "Cartel.."
