It's 2:54 AM and Mona just had Gabriella Jane Montgomery. It's been a long night at the hospital and now I'm a biological aunt! My brother is not old enough for this. My goodness, where does time go? But the house is still being built, and we have been working on it for almost 4 months. Hopefully it will be done by the time my little girl comes! Yes, I'm having ANOTHER girl. 4 girls and one boy. Or a total of 6 girls and 1 boy under 5 in the same house. Fun. But anyway, there should be more kids coming soon, with all of us besides Emily married, and a big old house to fill.... Anyway, the house should be done in about 3 months, so hopefully we are all ready and settled by the time she comes. My private Pre-School is going good, and the triplets are doing great at school. They love to try and beat each other's grades, it's actually kind of funny. Nolan is growing up so fast, and it's absolutely nuts! He's 4! Goodness. Oh! I get to go hold my niece for the first time! I rush in and take her from Mike. He gives me a very sarcastic, hurt look.
"Oh hush!" I say. "Guys,  she is gorgeous!"
"Thank you." They both say, and sigh.
"Mona, why don't you get some rest? You to, Mike. It's been a long night, and I know you want to see Ella as much as possible, but you'll see her in a couple hours when she wakes up, okay?"
"She's not even asleep yet." Mona says.
"Now she is!" I say, and set her down on the little crib they have in the room.
"How did you do that? We have both been trying to get her to sleep for hours!" Mona says.
"You guys will learn! After 4 kids!"
"I'm going to sleep." They both say in unison."jinx!" I say.
They laugh and Mike lays down on the recliner. The are both out in less than 10 minutes. Oh, parenthood.
