I Don't Want To Lose You Again

His arms stayed limp at his side while I hugged him. There was no way I was letting go.

"Julie-"

I buried my face in his neck,
"I thought you were dead Jordan. I cried because I thought you had left me. I nearly lost you."

His arms finally wrapped themselves around my waist too.
I had missed his scent so much. No, I missed him in general.

"It's all OK, Julie. I'm right here, I'm right here," he whispered into my hair. There it was again, Jordan comforting me. Somehow he could always calm me down so

It was now or never....

"Jordan, I thought you died." I don't know what triggered it but I started crying into his shirt.

His arms didn't loosen their grip at all. He was going to push me away. I was being weird. I waited for it but it never came.  I looked up to see him staring at me.

His hand reached to touch my face but stopped just before it made contact just hovering there.

"Are you really alive or is this an illusion?"

"I'm alive, I promise," I put my hand over his hovering hand and pressed it to my face,"See? Real."

Jordan was still mysterious but not as much as he used to be. He was still an unreadable person and I never could tell what he was thinking. Back when we were training he always managed to catch me staring at him when I was trying to figure him out.

"Julie, I thought you were dead too. I didn't think I could live or breathe without you."

I felt my stomach erupt into butterflies while I just blushed like an idiot. I closed as my eyes as I felt him lean in. In times like these you need someone that can bring a light to your darkness.

For me I had found my light and he was standing right in front of me. I felt his hand touch mine softly, almost cautiously.

I felt like melting on the spot under his light touch. No regret was filling my mind anymore.

Jordan pulled away and lightly pecked my cheek which immediately heated up.

"We're going win this war together. I don't want to lose you again." He whispered into my ear.
