1. IT'S THE TENTH PART SO I GIVE YOU A MAJESTIC PICTURE OF DAVID TENNANT

2. A crappy little excerpt of my newest book: (hehe, -Camo-. The majestic Rain shall not be stopped (:<)

The Lord President of Gallifrey was holding a meeting. He gathered the council and they discussed a very heated topic right had been debated for several days in this exact room.

"I am still suggesting that we send a family out to a different planet... You know, if this war never ends." This was the Lord President. Half of the Council agreed with him, half of them against him.

The debate ended several hours when one of the Council members said, "You know what? Fine. Send out a family, I don't care."

They decided to choose one family. They didn't tell the rest of Gallifrey. They told that one family that they would have to go. They'd been chosen.

The family consisted of three- the Second Archeologist, the Historian, and their daughter. Nothing special about them, but they were both able to pilot a TARDIS by themselves and the Historian was on the Council. She had been for sending a family to another planet. She didn't know her family would be chosen.

The Second Archeologist was red-haired and brown-eyed, while his wife had long brown hair and blue eyes. He had regenerated once, from having bright blond hair, vividly blue eyes, and being short to his new appearance. He had gotten a terminal illness. The Historian had never regenerated.

Their daughter was named Theodosa, for short of her long name. She was nine years old and had very long reddish-brown hair, longer than her mother's, and blue eyes. She'd never had a haircut and kept her hair in braids, down, or a ponytail.

Little Theodosa had no idea what was going to happen.

The Council gave the family two time machines and several other things, including a map to a foreign planet. Their best mappers and technicians checked everything multiple times, just to make sure that they would go on course.

They sent seventeen more Council members and another time machine so that they could be piloted correctly and get flown back to Gallifrey safely by the usual six pilots.

They took most of their things and sold the rest of their possessions. Among the ones they kept, there were individual and family paintings. There were a few of the Second Archeologist before and after his regeneration and a few individual portraits of his wife and his family.

They traveled to the planet and found a place to live. The planet was called Earth, the place they settled was called England.

They called themselves by their short names. The Second Archeologist was called Daldrin, and the Historian was called Dylan. The names fit into their new home's culture, and even Theodosa seemed human... Enough.

Theodosa was sent to a school there, Coal Hill School, and her parents got work at local stores, but they were often sent messages from Gallifrey. They were to be called the Smith family.

(Theodosa's POV)

I nervously stood at the front of Ms. Cavanaugh's classroom. She was introducing me.

"Good morning, students!" She said cheerily. Her students replied, "Good morning, Ms. Cavanaugh." She had dark blond hair pulled back in a loose bun and brown eyes framed by thin glasses. She looked pretty young for a teacher.

She smiled at the class and said, "We have a new student!" Their eyes drifted towards me. She gently tapped my shoulder to prompt me to introduce myself. "My name is Theodosa Victoria Pinecone Maria Smith."

I heard some giggles. "Call me Theodosa or Theo." I finished. The laughter intensified. Ms. Cavanaugh gave them a stern look and they stopped. "Theodosa, why don't you write something about yourself?"

She led me towards a table. I sat down, wiping my palms on my pants. There was a fill-out form on the table, asking some questions. Ms. Cavanaugh handed me a... What was it? Oh, yeah, a pencil. That was one of the things in a video I watched about this planet.

I started to write. I'd seen how the letters looked, but I still wanted to write in my native language. So I wrote my name in Gallifreyan and the rest in English. At least, I think it's in English... Well, I can read it either way, thanks to my parents' time machines. They translate languages inside my head.

Ms. Cavanaugh asked for me to hand it to her. I handed it to her. She looked at it. "Could you please write it in English?" She asked. My face flushed and I twirled my braid.

"I thought it was." She asked me, "How?" I had to improvise... "My family have our own language, I know it better than English," I said quickly.

She asked me to read it, so I did. "My name is Theodosa Victoria Pinecone Maria Smith and I come from Gallifrey. I am nine years old. My friends there probably don't know what happened to me, but the government there sent my family here in case our home was destroyed. My mother, the Historian, was on the Council and my father, the Archeologist, worked for them. Now they have jobs in this town. I liked to play with my friends in the fields, but that was hard to do because the Daleks were pretty much trying to kill us all."

When I finished, the class was staring at me with weird looks on their faces. One of them, a dark haired girl, raised her hand. Ms. Cavanaugh nodded towards her, so she spoke. "What is Gallifrey? Why does your family have weird names? And what are Daleks...?"

The girl looked confused, so I answered her. "Gallifrey is my home. Our names aren't weird, the people of Earth have weird names. And Daleks are our enemies."

Her expression was still confused, so I tried to explain further, but I was interrupted by an annoying ringing sound. Ms. Cavanaugh answered it. A telephone, I think it was called...

She handed it to me. "It's for you..." she trailed off. "Hello?" I said. "Theodosa, no matter what you do, don't tell them that you are not human." It was Dad. "Oops..." I replied. I heard his head hit his palm.

"Somehow, let them let you go home. We need to fix this." I nodded, then remembered that he couldn't see me. Ugh, this primitive human communication... "Okay, Dad," I replied.

"Say I have a... Dentist appointment? Is that what they're called?" I thought up, purposely speaking Gallifreyan. "Ahh! Good one." He seemed not to be angry. "Give this thing to your teacher."

I handed it to Ms. Cavanaugh. She listened for a second, then nodded while saying, "Okay, Mr. Smith. She'll be in the office." She'd bought it!

She looked down at me, confused. "It seems you have a dentist appointment, Theodosa. Come on, your father is going to pick you up." I trailed after her, my braids hitting my sides.

We got to the office and Dad was already there. He spoke in Gallifreyan, so they couldn't understand him. "Come on, the time machine's in the parking lot." I nodded.

We left and got in our machine, which was now disguised as human transportation. I looked around. This one was Dad's, the one that had taken me to this place. The machine gently rattled, lights flashing on the console.

"Theo, I'm going to stop you from going to school today." He flipped a few switches and slammed down a lever. The lights flashed down and the only sound was of the echo of the lever hitting the console. Then, the machine shook violently.

It was trying to stop us from crossing our own time stream.

So, what'd you think of the excerpt? Yay or nay? Are you yaysayers or naysayers? Should I keep it up? And sorry for any typos.
