Fifteen

Pete POV
When I woke up the next day I decided to bring Patrick to the doctors if he hadn't regained his voice.
"Are you sure?" I heard Andy say " well, I guess but- no Patrick"
I decided to get up then. I shuffled into the living area
Andy sighed then " Patrick I am not-" then he noticed me " oh! Hey Pete!"
"Hey man" I replied, Patrick smiles and waved at me.
"Is your throat any better pat?" I asked, he shook his head no and I sighed "okay Patrick get dressed" he scrambled up off the floor over too his notepad
Why? He wrote
"Because I'm taking you to the doctors." I said firmly, his eyes widening
No no NO I don't wanna go!
"Pat, I know you hate doctors but your not gonna get better until we see what's wrong" I could see him starting to cry
"Pat don't cry"I walked over and sat beside him and he snuggles into my shirt. " c'mon lets go get dressed" I said helping him stand up, he looked down then up at me as I lead him into the bunk area so he could get dressed

Once we arrived at the clinic Patrick wouldn't go in the room without me. We walked in and the doctor was sitting in her chair. Her name tag read
Dr.acula
I had to keep myself from laughing because her name is literally Dracula
Patrick sat down on the bed thingy that they have and I sat in a chair beside him.
"So, what brings you gentlemen here today?" She asks, Patrick was going to answer when he remembered he had no voice
"Uh- Patrick here has seemed to have, um, lost his voice" it came out more of a question than an answer
"Okay! We'll just have to run a few tests , but I would have to ask you to leave sir" she said to me, I nodded in understanding and stood up to leave. Patrick grabbed my wrist and looked at me pleadingly. I leaned down to give him a hug and whispered
"It's okay 'trick I'll be right outside" I pulled away and smiled reassuringly at him and walked out the door.
A/n this is one of the longest chapters I've ever written tbh
