The next day I caught Jerry in the lobby. He tried to avoid eye contact with me but I yelled his name loud enough that my voice echoed in the lobby.
"JERRY!"
He jumped at the sound of my voice.
"Oh hello Mercedes" he said giving me a weak smile
"Hi Jerry I wanted to talk to you about Ruthless's finances... I want to take a look at them"
"Oh don't worry yourself dear I have it all taken care of"
"I understand that Jerry but with this being Me and Eric's company we have the full right to look at our finances"
Just then his pager went off. He took it out of his suit pocket, briefly looked at it and put it back.
"I really have to get this we'll talk later" he said quickly walking to the elevator.
"You ain't getting away that easy muthafucka" I thought to myself
I followed him into the elevator.
"So about those finances" I said as the elevator door closed.
"I'll have them on your desk by tomorrow" he said waiting for the elevator door to open. I could tell he was uncomfortable as fuck as he kept adjusting his tie. I stared him so hard that I know he could feel my eyes buring his face. When the doors finally opened he hurried out of that elevator like there was a fire. He went into his office and closed the door behind him.
"Bitch" I mumbled under my breath.
As walked into my office my mouth dropped. There were roses and teddy bears everywhere. I couldn't even count how many vases of roses there were. On my desk was a note. I picked it up and read it.

"Awwwwwwww baby" I said as I smelled the roses that sat on my desk
Just then Eric came into my office.
"Hey baby" he said
"Eric baby you didn't have to do this"
I said wrapping my arms around his neck.
"I just wanna keep you satisfied and happy" he said wrapping his arms around my waist
"You already keep me satisfied you going to get enough of spoiling me"
"You know I like spoiling you" he said smacking my butt
We kissed as we stood in the middle of the room.
"Mmm you know we ain't fucked in your office yet " he said
"Boy stop being nasty"
"Mmmm we should try it out one time"
"I'll think about it" I said kissing him
