Chapter 3-Game day

The blue cleats are Audrey's cleats. Mia's cleats will be showed in another chapter.

{Friday}

"Audrey, I need you to get up!", I shouted at my tired teammate as she snores her way off into her sleep.

"Ten more minutes!", she grunted.

"Aud! We're gonna be late to the game if you don't get up! And we're gonna have to run laps at practice!"

After what I said, she quickly got up and changed.

I knocked on the bathroom door.

"Does our new uniform look nice?", I asked.

"It's really cool!", she shouted from the bathroom. "Come out Audrey!"

She opened the bathroom door and I was astonished! Our new uniform was blue with white strikes at the sleeves of the jersey. The shorts with our club logo at the corner, same with the jerseys. The socks were white with a blue line going across it. It looked perfect with Audrey's blue Nike cleats.

"It's perfect!", I shrieked. I quickly changed into mine and we ran down stairs.

"Look here! Two stormers ready for their game!", my mom shouted happily admiring our new uniforms.

She gestured us to turn around and show her our numbers.

I have always been using the number eleven and Audrey has always had seven. They were just meant for us.

"You two look so cute!", my mom cried.,"Miles! Are you ready to go?"

Miles skipped down the stairs. "I'm gonna leave in my car. Cause I need to pick up Almond from my friends house.", he said grabbing his keys.

Audrey began freaking out. "I love Almond!"

"Let's go Audrey! To beat some butt!", I shouted running to the car.

I called Nick when we got to the park.

Mia! Good luck at your game soccer princess!

Thank you Nick! I will tell you about it after the game. I will score for you!

I know you will Mia, good luck again. Remember I really love you!

Haha, love you too!

I set my phone in my bag and ran to my team.

"Ok, Audrey. Remember to pass to Mia. Let her shoot and score!", our Coach shouted.

"Where's our real game plan?", Kelsey asked a little annoyed.

I gave her a look and she just walked to  her position.

Audrey and I walked to our positions up front and I eyed the other team. Someone looked familiar on that team. Same long brown hair, pale skin, brown eyes. Oh my lord, it's Tara. She was at defense ready to strike right at me.

When did she start playing soccer?

The ref blew the whistle and we were off! I repeated in my mind what Nick told me, remember I really love you.

I never got it out of my head, his voice over the phone. Telling me he really loves me. I love him more back. And that will always remain.

Audrey got the ball and crossed it to me. I chest trapped it and dodged a player before shooting right into the net!

I lifted my arms in the air and shouted.

"Mia!", my team shouted.

We kept going over and over. Storm was officially gonna beat that other team. I have already scored my fifth goal and we were ahead 8-2.

The ref blew the whistle for half time.

I jogged back to the sideline to chug down my water.

"Mia keep doing what you're doing!", coach shouted winking and patting my back.

~Tara POV~

My team looked devastated because we were loosing horribly.

"That number eleven is ruining it all! This looks really easy for her!", Trinity shouted.

"Yeah! She needs to be stopped!", Nora poured.

"Guys, her name is Mia. And I know her weakness.", I smirked at my team.

"What is it Tara! Tell us what is it!", Kylie cried shaking me.

"She is Nick Robinson's girlfriend."

Nora looked surprised. "She is Nick Robinson's girlfriend!"

I nodded. "Yeah. And Nick left four months ago to film for Melissa and Joey. Mia has been sad since he left. And if we mention his name to her, she will definately fall."

Anna gave me a mischievous look. "Tara, you are so good at cheating."

I smiled and crossed my arms. "I guess I am."

~Mia POV~

"Let's go storm! We have them at the top of our fingers! We can rule this game!", I shouted at my team. We all huddled then ran to our positions.

"Hey Mia!", Tara shouted.

"What do you want?"

"How's Nick? Is he having fun without you? He's probably dating a whole lot of girls at this moment!", she shouted laughing.

I felt my heart drop. How dare she say that.

"No he's not! Shut the fuck up before I kick the soccer ball at your face ok?", I shouted back at her.

She looked at her teammates and they nodded.

The ref blew the whistle and we began! Audrey passes the ball to me right away and I began running. I ran past a girl.

"Nick is gone.", she whispered.

I tried to ignore.

"Nick doesn't miss you.", another girl shouted.

I tried to fight back the tears but they just came out. I can't give up. None of that is true. I ran on.

"Nick is far far far away from you and can't protect you.", a girl shouted.

My feet jumbled. I looked down at the ball, it was moving away. Not the same as it used to be. Ignore it Mia! You know it's all fake!

I was about to run up to the goal when Tara comes near me.

"Nick already has a girlfriend, and it's not you."

My brain was infected with all these lies. Tara was making me fail at the sport I love. The game that I was gonna win for Nick. She's making me weak.

My foot smashed in with the other. I shouted as I fell hard onto the grass. Tara laughed and took the ball away.

My butt hurt. It got hit hard. My arm hurt a lot too, must've been all the pressure from when I fell.

I sat there in despair watching as Tara's team was now crashing into my team's side, destroying it all.

Oh ma lord, it's so late! I had to finish homework then take a shower. And I had practice but when I take showers, I can't sleep.

Tara is back. Noooooooôöòóøōõ. Hahahaha. See what I did there😏
