"You hate me!" Charlie screams and breaks down into tears.
"Charlie, babe, I don't hate you!" I reassure her, bringing the sobbing girl into an awkward hug. In Australia I never dealt with crying girls because a) they were usually glaring at me from the corner of the room because I was talking to the guys and b) they I didn't actually have any girl friends.
"You do! I have to stay here and I'm a terrible friend and you hate me!" She wailed, flinging her arms around my neck.
I looked past her shoulder to see Brad watching this ordeal with amusement. "Help me" I mouthed and he just shook his head, laughing to himself.
The night had been really fun until I decided I wanted to call it a night because of classes the next day but it turns out Ally was way to drunk to drive home. I offered to drive and we thought we solved the problem until we couldn't find her keys anywhere.
This is when Brad swoops in to save the day, offering for us to stay. I politely decline but not before Charlie agreed to staying. That was the start of Charlie's major break down feeling that she was a terrible friend.
"Listen Charlie," I said pulling away to look at the weeping girl.
"Yes?" She hiccuped.
"You are not a bad friend-" I started but was cut off by her wailing once more.
I didn't know what to do anymore so I did the only think I could think of.
I slapped her.
"Snap out of it" I huffed at a stunned Charlie. "You listen here. I am going to go home with Nick and you are going to stay here with Brad. In the morning you will find you keys and go where ever you need to and once your done we are going to grab smoothies and have a nice afternoon together and then you will be convinced that you are not a bad friend, okay?" I ordered.
"Okay" She sniffed. "Thank you"
"It's okay" I smiled. "Now go run to Brad" I turned her around and pushed her into her boyfriends arms who was now looking at me with an astonished look.
"What?" I asked, shrugging and getting my bag. "It worked didn't it? Ready Nick?" I asked and he mutely nodded, looking at me with a little bit of adoration.
"That was bad ass" He grinned when we were on the road.
"Pfft" I chuckled and turned up the radio.
The Weeknd's 'High for This' came on and Nick and I road in silence until we got to my apartment.
"Thanks for the ride" I smiled and turned to get out.
"What you're not going to invite me in?" he asked, feigning hurt.
"You want to come in?" I deadpanned just to humour him.
"Yes actually" He smiled cheekily, stopping the engine and walking ahead. "Are you coming?" He called over his shoulder.
"I didn't think you'd actually meant you wanted to come up" I grumbled.
"I know" He winked.
"You're impossible" I muttered, unlocking the door and trudging inside.
"So what's on for tonight?" Nick asked, kicking up his feet and turning on the TV.
"Well I don't know about you but I'm going to get ready for bed" I said, pushing his feet off the coffee table and moving past him to close the curtain in the apartment.

Bed Warmer
Humor"Good morning sunshine" A voice spoke into my ear. I groaned, shoving my head under the pillow to try and get away from the noise. "I don't think so. This is my bed and I say it's time to get up." The voice took away the pillow and stripped me of my...
