It was finally Friday. Third week of college was done at last.
"Who knew I could have so many assignments in the first three weeks of college" I sighed, flopping down onto the couch.
"Welcome to college life baby" Charlie sung. "But it's Friday so that means it's time to get wasted!"
"I'm too tired" I groaned.
"Well that's too bad" Charlie winked and heaved me up from the couch pushing me into the bathroom. "Shower and wash your hair and then I'll do your makeup and get you looking real nice for the party we're going to tonight"
"Do I have to go?" I called out from the other side of the bathroom door.
"Yes" Charlie yelled back.
Fine then.
I took my time in the shower making sure to wash every bit of skin and run my razor over everywhere twice. I used my favourite coconut smelling shampoo and conditioner before I even thought about getting out.
"Took your time" Charlie huffed when I finally emerged dressed in nothing but a towel. She was sitting next to Brad on the couch who was too busy watching the football to notice my presence.
I only huffed in response before going into my room and changing into underwear and a baggy t-shirt of my brothers. "Are you coming or what?" I called out to Charlie.
"Hold your horses, jeez" She murmured carry her stacks of makeup and laying it on my floor. "Okay, I'm doing what I want tonight just because you have pissed me off"
"No" I protested weakly. "I don't want too much makeup on Charlie" I whined.
"Well I guess that's too bad isn't it" She cackled and gave me a wink.
An hour later after nearly poking my eye out and burning the back of my neck with the curling iron I was allowed to stand up so Charlie could throw random pieces of clothing at me. "Ah ha" She finally exclaimed. "Wear this"
"I am not wearing this. No way" I said firmly shaking my head. Charlie had thrown me a skimpy black dress that I had forgotten I even owned.
"Put it on" She ground out.
"No" I said just as stubbornly.
"Alice Johnson, I did not spend the last hour making you like look this" she gestured to my face, "just for you too ruin it. Either you put it on or I make you put it on" She threatened. Now I usually wasn't one to back down but this girl standing just a fraction shorter than me scared the living day lights out of me.
I rolled my eyes and reluctantly slipped, or more like squeezed, my body into the material.
"Okay, now you can look" Charlie said, admiring her work.
"Finally" I mumbled and turned to look in my full length mirror.
"Holy shit" I gasped.
"I know right" She squealed.
"What have you done?" I asked in shock. No longer stood someone I was familiar with. My hair was loosely curled and I had a smokey eye finished with a pink lip adorning my face. The black dressed hugged me perfectly even if it was a little short but the plunging neck line showed cleavage that I never knew looked so good. "I look so..."
"Hot?" Charlie offered, giggling at my expression.
I turned to smile at her. "Thank you"
"Your welcome sweetie" She winked. "Now let me go get ready"
"Where are we even going tonight?" I asked her on her way out.
"To Nick's again"
