Fawn's POV

The rest of their visit is fairly easy. I give them all my phone number and they give me theirs... Blah blah blah... When they leave, the adults come back the next day. Summer's almost over. The morning after the adults come back, we meet in the living room.

"So... We have decided that Fawn and Blossom are coming to live with us!" Aunt Bubbles says and I stare at mom, who is smiling, curled up next to dad. The others are excited, but I slip away. When I get out of the house, I run through the barn and out toward the woods. I run past my friends coming to work their horses. I hear their shouts but keep running in deeper. I don't stop until I'm really deep. Then I climb a tree and sit in it.

"I don't want to move. I want to stay here, with my friends." I cry silently, not caring now that no one can see me. There is a rustling noise from a bush and a small sheltie puppy crawls out, holding one paw in the air. There is a wire wrapped strongly around its paw. I jump down slowly and kneel down.

"Here little girl. It's okay. I won't hurt you." I convince the puppy to crawl over to me and i gently unwrap the wire. She barks softly and licks my hand.

"I'm gonna name you.... Flare. Come one Flare. Let's take you home so I can fix you up." I gently pick her up and cradle her in my arms. She's about two months old, a female with blue eyes and a normal sheltie coat. When we get home, I go right upstairs to my room and bathe her. I make sure she smells nice before drying her off and using a old hair brush to brush out her cloat. I trim it with a old pair of scissors before tying a ribbon losely around her neck, ending with a bow. I gently bandage her paw before allowing her to sit on my bed. She curls up next to me. Mom gently knocks on the door and I grab my newest manga before letting her in. She closes the door and looks at Flare.

"Why do you have a dog?" She asks. Flare scurries into my lap, shaking. Mom jumps back.

"I found her in the woods with a hurt paw. I'm keeping her and there's no way to stop me." I tell her, putting my book down and gently petting Flare.

"Okay. Anyway... Silvia's family are the ones buying this place. You need to start packing. I know this will be hard, but I love your father and we want to raise you with the rest of the family." Mom says and hugs me. I nod and she leaves.

One Week Later

The last of the boxes are packed and the horses are loaded. We are brining Burst, Star, and Sara. I climb into the car with Rave, Chase, and Bella. Mom is driving while Dad is driving the other car. I watch as we exit Nerva. The organizers of the talent show had been sad that I pulled out, but they promised to send me a High Quality recording of the talent show. I told my friends via text message that I was leaving before exiting the group chat. Right now, I have each of them on Do Not Disturb.

We reach New Townsville two hours later. My new life starts now.
