Hangrid + Grester = Hartbig?

Chapter 1 - The beginning of Grester...

November 2013

{Narrator's POV}

Chester and Grace had been talking a lot ever since they had filmed Camp Takota, they were good friends before the project but now they were even closer, texting or calling every day since shooting the movie.

They had planned to get some coffee in the morning so they could catch up in person.

At the coffee shop

{Chester's POV}

                I'm waiting at a little coffee shop, waiting for Grace. We haven't stopped talking to one another since the movie. I've learned a lot about her, she's real secretive and doesn't really like opening up to people much but we have this special connection and so we've started to tell each other a lot about ourselves. I really value the friendship between Grace and myself, but I wouldn't mind one bit if we actually turned into a couple I mean she's drop dead gorgeous. Her smile will be the death of me honestly, I find it extremely difficult not to stare at her whenever she's around and when she walks past me and I catch a whiff of her delightful scent I can't help but crave her.

I hear someone clear their throat rather loudly in front of me. I look up immediately taking myself out of another 'thinking of her' daze. And there in front of me stood the most gorgeous being I have ever had the pleasure to meet. My cheeks turn a light shade of red as I stutter a quiet "Hey."

"Hey Ches" she says calmly sitting down in the seat opposite, not breaking eye contact, "How are you?"

"I'm great thanks, how have you been?" I ask smiling slightly.

"I've been okay, busy ya'know?" she replies.

"Yeah. Oh, do you want a coffee?" I ask kinda concerned because she's just watching me drink the coffee I had gotten before she arrived. 

"Umm, sure. I'll have a hazelnut cappuccino, thanks." She says

I get up kind of awkwardly to go over to the counter to get Grace's drink.

Wow she looks stunning today. Am I acting weird? Is it obvious I like her? I can't tell if she likes me back. Does she? I think I'm gonna ask her to go out to a restaurant with me tonight. What if she says no? Will she feel weird because I'm really asking her on a date? Arggh?!?!?!

I walk back to where Grace is sitting and hand her the drink. She thanks me smiling which automatically causes me to start smiling like a goof. I sit opposite and we get into deep conversation. Laughing at each other's cheesy jokes and lighting the mood when it got a little serious or tense.

She's so funny, and her laugh, just wow. She is just amazing. I lose myself in her deep brown eyes that go on forever.

I blush and giggle to myself as I can't stop thinking about the tiny things she does that just drives me incredibly insane.

It goes quiet for a while so I thought it was the perfect time to ask about dinner.

"Umm Grace I was wondering if you'd be up for going to get some dinner with me tonight if you're not busy... I mean you don't have to if you don't want to but it would be really cool, you up for it?" my voice shakes and I think she can tell I'm pretty nervous.

She laughs at my nervousness and answers, "Of course I'd love to, ya big dumb-dumb!"

An enormous grin spreads across my face. "Oh great. Umm how about I pick you up at 7?" I ask.

"Yeah, that's fine." She says her grin just as big as mine, "I've got a meeting in about an hour so I'm gonna have to get going. I've had a really great time Chester." I nod at her kind of disappointed but then realize we've been here for over 2 hours. She stands up and puts her leather jacket on.

I get up and go over to where she is and embrace her in a hug, surprisingly she doesn't refuse and wraps her arms around me. After we release each other from a rather long hug she looks at me, smiles and kisses my cheek.

"I'll see you tonight Chester." She says smirking

"I'm looking forward to it." I smile back blushing, a lot.

And with that she was gone, I watched her walk away and gather my things making my way out to my car.

I can't wait for tonight. It's gonna be great. I smile to myself and giggle.

So that was the first chapter of my first fanfic. I don't really know how all this works. I hope you liked it.

My OTP is HartBig however i've accepted the fact that Hangrid and Grester are probably real, so I kinda ship them
