“Why would you do this Katherine?” James asked running his hands on my wrist.
“I just like to feel the physical pain distracted me from the emotional pain. I just have too much inside to explain. It just sometimes I can’t help it and I just need to cut. There is a chemical called endorphins that’s in pituitary gland it’s like a natural plain reliever. The first time I cut was the second day I got here. I just had too many things on my mind. I went into the bathroom and saw a razor and just cut. I felt relieved after that. I just like watching my blood come out it’s like negative energy leaving me temporarily. I just love how it feels James. It makes me feel like I actually do have feelings.” I told him truthfully. We are still sat on my bed in my room we just started talking. We had awkward silence where he just stood at my cuts and scars.
“But Katherine” I cut him off.
“When I cut I am in control no one else is. I am in charge of my own pain no one else is. I just like it being me James I only feel safe. To be honest with you I only feel comfortable around certain people. I don’t know why I am even talking to you and telling you this James.” I sighed sadly.
“You are talking because you need to feel secure. Look Katherine I know I just met you but I’m here for you baby girl. “He told me kissing my forehead.
“Thanks James”I told him.
“No need to thank me Katherine. Let’s just talk about why you started this.” He said pointing my cuts again.

“Hey guys.” I heard Alex say as he came in. I just finished telling James everything more things then I told Alex. I didn’t tell Alex the whole story because he seemed pissed so I only told him certain things.
“Hi.” James mumbled. He seems pissed the one thing I didn’t tell James where the names of the people. Billy is James little brother. I don’t want to mess anything up. I messed up enough things to mess up more. James asked me multiple times who the person where. I just told him I forgot their names.
“What is up your butt? Sorry we didn’t come back up Trey wanted us all to watch a movie with him. We thought you guys would have come down. Trey said there was no talking aloud that’s why we didn’t call you down. I’m supposed to be using the bathroom right now. I just wanted to check on you two.” He said staring at us suspiciously.
“We’ll we are fine. We are just talking a little. So I have a question how long as Katherine been staying at your house?” James asked.
“About a month now. Why?” Alex asked.
“DADDY!! HURRY YOU ARE MISSING IT!” Trey yelled. Alex looked at us a put a finger up and walked backwards out the door.
