The whole week consisted of us taking Ashton around the city and a couple of interviews. Lana really wanted to give Ashton a 'full tour' so I was basically dragged everywhere they went. It sucked even more since I had to drive them around.

I don't get how they aren't dating yet? Lana told me Ashton hasn't asked her out yet. I suggested that she asked him instead but she gave a "that's not how it works!" So I didn't bother giving her anymore advice.

It was now Saturday and I was working on typing up the current information I wrote. I transferred them all to my computer and saved so I wouldn't have to worry about losing any of my notes. I still didn't know what form I was gonna do my entry in.

Maybe a journal format? I'll have to ask Lana later, she's the best at deciding.  I wanted to call Ryan and tell him about all this.  Hopefully, he wasn't busy.  I picked up my phone from the side table and clicked on his contact.

After a few rings, he answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ryan! Uh are you busy right now?"

"Not at the moment, no. Why?"

"I know what I'm gonna write for the contest"

After telling him the idea and telling him I've already started interviewing, he told me he loved it.  "I think it's a great idea.  I can get you some people to interview.  I know a bunch of famous figures that live in la"

"Oh my god Ryan would you do that? You're the best person ever!" I said excitingly.  This would be great for the entry.  They probably have a totally different story from the others I've interviewed.

"No problem, I'll call you later alright?" He said and we exchanged our 'byes'.  I hope he doesn't make me interview snobby people, not that there are many.  Ellen De Generes would be great, I love her.

The thought of her made me look at the clock.  It was almost 4, Ellen would be on in a couple of minutes.

"We should do something the other contestants wouldn't do" Lana said kicking her feet up on the coffee table. We were currently on the couch thinking of what format I should be writing my entry in. 'We' as in Lana, me, and Ashton.

"I think most people would do the journal thing" Ashton said. "Or the short book". I nodded but bit my lip, I really wanted to do the journal entry but Ash was right.  There was only an essay, a magazine, and a newspaper left.

"Well, a magazine would be cool but the interviews are too short to be put on one full page, and plus we didn't get pictures of the people you talked to" Lana said.  Magazine was out of the list.

"Essays are way too boring" Ashton said chuckling, reaching over to grab his water off the table.  The only option left was doing a newspaper.  I sighed running my hands through my hair.  Who reads the newspaper anyways?

"I mean, I could do a newspaper but nowadays people don't usually read it" I said.  They both nodded their heads.  If I was going to win, my entry had to be unique and good for everyone to read.

"Why don't we change the color of the font on the newspaper? Maybe purple?" Ashton suggested looking at my hair.  At first I was thinking it was a good idea but I got skeptical.  "If we did light purple, it wouldn't show, and if we did a dark purple, it would look like the color black"

We all thought for a minute until Lana gasped.  "Why not change the paper of the newspaper?"  She said looking at me.  Change the color of the paper? How were we gonna do that?

"Lana how are we supposed to do that?" I said almost biting my nails.  She put her lips in a straight line and shrugged.

"People can do anything these days, we'll find someone" Ashton said looking at us reassuringly.  I don't get how he could be so positive all the time.  I was glad we met him.

"Yeah if we did that, people would get attracted by the color and love the story that goes with it " Lana said nudging my arm.  I laughed and shook my head at her.  "You guys are such a big help"

We sat in silence for a few minutes, well because we were watching Friends.  I was slightly nervous since I didn't know we could have colored newspapers, but also excited of the idea.

"Let me just tell you, I would totally read a purple newspaper" Lana said.
