31. The New Start

Cody was restless the whole night, he didn't have many options to go with, he decided to act like a mate from tomorrow. When generally two people find out they are mates the boy starts making efforts like walking to the girls school and back home carrying her bag to get lunch for her. Cody decides to start tomorrow, shows up early at Dale's house and confesses that his mate offered him to walk with him to school. Sleep never came to him, when the alarm started buzzing he woke up, got ready and started to walk towards Dale house, not breakfast . He came there too early so he decided to wait below front yard tree.

Ruth also wakes up early to get ready and sends a text to Michael, "Meet outside school very urgently about Cody". Ruth mentions Cody's name for seriousness. She knows Michael very well and he will run now to meet.

Dale woke up a little late and he had a pain killer before sleeping. When he woke up all bruises were very faint but scars were there.

Ruth calls Dale before leaving the house, so Dale can get out of the house. Ruth was on her phone when she reached near the house, She did not notice Cody, Dale opened the door and came out and Cody came from the tree to the door, he stood beside Ruth.

Ruth and Dale both got shocked, Ruth first opened her mouth,

Ruth, "What are you doing here?"

Cody, facing Dale, " I want you to walk school" he skipped "with" intentionally to show mate authority.

Dale, "why???"

Cody, "We are mates."

Dale and Ruth, "What?" very loudly.

Cody, "We are mates, I realized this last night while greeting, I wanted to tell you on stage but both of you left, and I know it's too much to process so I thought I should explain this to you in person in peaceful place."

Ruth's phone started ringing, she saw name on the phone screen and said, "Let's walk to school, Michael is waiting for us."

Ruth and Dale started walking together towards school. Both were shocked and wanted to choose the right words to discuss the current situation so not much talking.

Cody was right behind them, he was also silent, he gave them time to process.

When they reached school Michael was waiting for them at the gate. They all decided to go towards the football ground seating area to discuss further.

Cody wanted to give this information to Michael so he opened his mouth while walking, Cody, "Dale is my Mate", Generally they all refer to Dale as doctor kid but today used His first name.

Michael stopped, then he took a big step to reach Cody and asked, "When you realized that for the first time?"

Cody opened his mouth but before he could say something Michael spoke, " you had realized a long time ago but you are sure after last night, right? I had my suspicions but I was worried that you were not understanding your feeling and may hurt him."

Cody, "Why are you suspicious?"

Michael, "You will not understand all feelings of yours."

Cody, "And you will understand my feeling without telling?"

Michael, "It was hunch, You have a stronger wolf than your human, and werewolf like you find mates early."

Cody, "And you never thought that you should tell me this?"

Michael, "This is not something new, everybody knows this."

Cody, "hey".

Dale and Ruth turn around, All have reached their destination, no one was willing to sit, Cody said to both of them, "Any of you know that werewolf who has a stronger wolf than his human find mate early?"

Dale and Ruth, "NO."

Michael, "It's not like he finds mate early he can start feeling before 18, sometime like year before and who have weak wolves they start feeling little late sometimes."

Dale, "So I'm will have late feeling ?"

Michael, "I don't think you have a weak wolf, your  human is  weak."

Cody, "So he will have a feeling on time. Right?"

Michael, "It's not science, it's feeling sometimes they can be late or early. But as per my observation you should also feel early. Your wolf is strong, you have your mate beside and its alpha."

Dale, "Why do you think my wolf is strong? Have you not  seen me in combat?"

Michael, "You are not understanding, your wolf is stronger than your human. Your wolf is not physically that strong but his aura is much stronger .If you ever get into any danger, turn into a wolf he will handle any situation. He is Luna, never forget this my advice. "

Cody, "Don't rush towards titles, we need permission from the pack council for all that."

Dale, "Right."

Michael to Cody, "You are alpha, you had a ceremony last night and your mate will be Luna. What is confusion there?"

Dale, "Can we discuss a few other things first? 6 months left for my birthday. before going to the pack council? I think we should wait and find out our feelings first."

Dale to Cody, "And we have a lot to talk about, last whole month was a nightmare. Do you think that doesn't matter now?"

Cody immediately felt a sting in his heart but still he spoke, "We will talk about that too. This time we will take things slow and with your consent, we can discuss this between us only. I'm sorry for all, really sorry."

Dale felt he shouldn't be apologetic like that in front of others, "We will discuss this later."

They discuss a few more things about keeping this secret till Cody and Dale are not comfortable. It will be between F4 and Dale and Ruth only. They have to tell F4 or they will feel betrayed.

They all left for their classes.
