Imagine for Thor_is_me
Imagine if you were chief advisor to the king and queen after Rapunzel went missing. They appointed you because they realised their daughter's captor had magical powers for who could breach the walls of the castle.
They send you every day for years to search for the princess and you always came back with a grass stained cloak, some supplies shorter and some hope slightly lost.
Then one day you go earlier than usual and come across some strange vines draped across a rock. You stare at them and squint your eyes. You take a deep breath a walk into the vines. You come into a clearing where a tower was with two peasant women lived in their queer ways. You turn to leave but a lilting and beautiful voice catches your attention; singing something about flowers glowing.
You turn back around intrigued and see a glow from the tower's window.
That's odd. You think to yourself.
The vision of the tower becomes filmy and disappears for a second and then with a roaring sound snaps straight back into view.
Of course. You were thinking like a human and not someone of magical descent. This causes the extraordinary to disintegrate.
This is how the princess has been held this long. An invisability shield. You pulled the hood of your cloak over your head and walked quickly out of the clearing.
There was dark magic going on here. You could be killed by this witch!
You couldn't tell the royals because they would never believe you and they would never be able to see it. But how could you ever bring Rapunzel home?
Your head spun with the enormity of it.
You pretend in the end that you have not found her again. But for the next few years you go and watch the tower.
One day when the witch leaves, you decide to climb the tower and meet the princess.
You climb up brick by brick and sometimes fall and slip but regain grip for what seems like an age.
But then, you get to the window haul yourself through and.....
Fall very ungracefully on your face on the floor. You mutter ow and stay there in a heap of shame.
About a 12 year old girl in a lavender dress walks up to you.
"Are you ok?" She asks and offers out her hand to help me but you refuse.
You dust yourself down a little and talk to the princess just as a friendly chat. You perform one spell for her to make it rain sparkles in the tower and she dances round with glee and with a cheeky grin on her face, blushing slightly.
You then ask her to sing, to hear that beautiful song again.
As she sings her hair glows, starts to shimmer and then fall to a gold. She finished and her hair stops glowing. Her smile fades and she gasps as you feel, slowly at first and then all at once, a blossoming pain in your back as a sharp metal object sticks in your back and then is removed by your murderer.
Your last words were "Run Rapunzel! Run!" But the child did not understand because she was young and the witch placed her arm around the precious child's shoulders as she sobbed and you close your eyes for the final time.
Not all of the imagines will be this sad. Thor_is_me wanted kind of a twisted ending. It will get happier!! Trust me!! See people soon hopefully!! :)
