I woke up and checked the clock to see what time it is. 1 P.M, it wasn't that bad considering I went to sleep at 3 a.m. I couldn't stop thinking about who Jake likes. I kept imagining Jake and I drifting apart because of this one girl. I would start crying at that thought, Jake and I have been friends since forever so the thought of us talking and hanging out less hurt me, a lot.
I rolled out of bed, picked out an outfit (skinny jeans, old band tee, and a beanie.) I slowly walked to the bathroom. When I got there someone was in there.
"Ughhhhhhhh, *knock* hurry *knock* up!!" As you can see I'm not a morning person. Out came Jordan wearing a girly shirt, a skirt, and bow. It sometimes makes me want to barf thinking about how girly she is. I got in the bathroom, locked the door, and quickly took off my clothes. I turned on the water and luckily it wasn't cold so I got in immediately. As usual I stood there for about 30 minutes thinking about the wonders of life.
When I got out of the bathroom (completely dressed, and my hair and teeth brushed) it was around 2 pm. Three hours until I get to see Jake. I went downstairs and saw my older brother Austin, who has already moved out considering he's 23, sitting on the couch watching TV with Jordan.
"AUSTIIIIIIIIIIN AHHHH" I've obviously missed my older brother. He was always there for me, helped me with every single problem I had, and gave me wise advice.
"LUCI!" We dramatically ran to each and on our way there we both fell. We both laughed hysterically . This has been our thing ever since I was 10 and he was 16. Our mom came in the room and said "what am I going to do with you guys" but she had a smile on her face, happy to see us enjoying ourselves. Once our laughter died down we got up and hugged each other.
"I've missed you so much Austin, please come back, I need my older brother around!" We released from the hug.
"Luci I've got some great news to tell you. I'm staying here for your entire summer break!" My first reaction was to scream and then I attacked him with a hug.
"Oh my gosh, finally, we have so much to catch up on!" I felt tears coming, not sad tears but happy tears. I've missed having a guy around the house. My dad? you ask. Well my dad is always working so I only see him once or twice a week but only for a few minutes. He's always traveling and working in the office late! So I'm pretty much stuck with my mom and my sister every single day.
"But first I need to talk to you. I need some advice." I said in a whisper so only Austin could hear me
"Sure kiddo what's up?"
"In private?"
~in Luci's room~
"So there's a guy....." I was cut off by Austin.
"It's jake isn't it?" I was shocked! How did he know?! Is he psychic or something?!
"Yeah! How did you...?"
"I knew you were gonna like him eventually, and as always, im right!"
He was telling the truth, he's ALWAYS right. Always!
"We'll anyways he told me that he likes this other girl, but he hasn't told me who she is. I'm scared that were gonna drift apart because of this girl. What should I do?" I said, with tears coming down my face. Austin hugged me and comforted me until I calmed down.
"I'll talk to him ok?" I nodded in agreement.
"Thanks Austin for being such a great brother" I gave him a hug. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 4:55.
"We'll I gotta go! Bye" I got my keys my phone and my shoes and I bolted for the door. It takes about 8 minutes to get to Jakes house so I wouldn't take long.
I quickly got to his house. I was so excited that I almost fell out of my car. Whoops. I composed my self and got out of the car. I walked to the door and knocked. I waited, ad waited, and waited. I knocked again. I kept waiting until I rang the doorbell. After two minutes I called his phone. It rang twice then went to voicemail. I turned around to see if his car was here. It was. I became curious as to what was happening. I sat down on the bench they had on their porch. After about 5 minutes I saw jake come out so I did my best to stay quiet. Then I saw a girl come out. I couldn't quite see her face yet. Jake kissed her then she started to walk away. When she turned around to say bye to Jake, my heart shattered to a million pieces. I couldn't believe that this was the girl jake liked.
When she was fully gone and Jake went back in, I stood up and walked towards the door. I loudly knocked so he was aware that someone was at the door. The door opened and I walked right in.
"HOW COULD YOU?!" I screamed at him as I bursted into tears. I just couldn't believe it. One of my worst nightmares have become a reality.
